He couldn’t due to Roe V Wade, but he has taken a bigger bite out of abortion than any other president I have seen. I believe he is pro-life, even if he was once on the fence about it.
 
Well, that would certainly be lighter entertainment than the Courtois tome.
 
The Tsar made a whole lot of mistakes, that is for sure. It seems like he was incompetent in many respects. But he is a saint now, is he not at least in the Russian Church?

I haven’t seen Trump come out in favor of late term abortion. But is not Bernie Sanders on record as favoring its legality? It is a horrific, gruesome murder of a child near birth, is it not?
Of the Democrats, I have only heard Tulsi say she is in favor of limits on abortion rights. I can’t support murder of a child just near birth.

So you think live saving drugs going up 300% on one year is controlled capitalism ?

The market doesn’t reflect healthcare as you like to believe for there is no choice in most cases when health is at issue.

If you’re having a heart attack, you don’t get to check the pricing at the various hospitals and then direct the ambulance driver to take you to the one you choose.

Insurance companies do get to offer you the policies they want to. Where did you get the idea that they offer what’s in the best interest of the patient ? Heck, they tell the doctors what they’ll pay for and what they won’t.
 
He can propose a constitutional amendment, but the fact is, no politician, republican or democrat, and construct a bill which would pass in Congress.

The penalty for breaking the law would throw women and doctors in jail and no politician is in favor of such a bill.
 
I haven’t seen Trump write a bill banning late term abortions either.

Trump doesn’t think deeply about most social issues, only economic issues which will effect his finances and that of people like him.
 
The ones that gained power did so under the auspices if the Soviet Union.

Possibly, but the economy has not been too bad under his administration. The current rate of inflation is under 3% and what was it under Carter - something like 15% or more?
 
Everything is not free: both middle class taxpayers and future generations pay (larger national debt) for “free” college tuition, free healthcare for illegal immigrants, etc.
I recommend EWTN’S “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”, where Saul Alinsky uses the “useful idiots” to advance the idea of putting the government in charge of every aspect of your life.
 
With all due respect to Obama, TARP was passed under Bush, and Obama can be credited for carrying forward the policies enacted in 2008. Were we saved from a Great Depression? I tend to think so. If we would have waited until Jan 2009 to do anything, it would have been too late.

What you say is true, but under Obama the unemployment rate was 4.8%, while under Trump it is about 3.5% .
Handgun production was up 192% under Obama
Handgun production was down 23% under Trump.
Food stamp recipients was up 33% under Obama
Food stamp recipients was down 14.8% under Trump.
Murders are down 6.9% under Trump.
 
Since you mentioned it, here are some of President Trump’s pro-life accomplishments:
  • enacted the “Right to Try”, in which those with terminal illness have the right to attempt experimental drugs, hoping for a cure
  • granted our veterans the right to avoid long wait times in the VA, and go to another health care provider
  • more than 100 great Judicial appointments of Judges who support the Constitution, as oppose to making their own laws from the bench
  • eliminated the forced abortifacient coverage that existed in Obamacare for churches and other Christian businesses
  • eliminated President Obama’s fornication-promoting $100 million per year sex-education program
  • executive order allowing churches’ free speech and religious liberty
  • withdrew U.S. funding from the abortion-promoting U.N. Population Fund
  • New Office for Conscience Protection at HHS
  • the Trump administration finalized new regulations to strengthen enforcement of federal laws protecting the conscience rights of health care workers who do not want to participate in abortion.
  • Now PRO-LIFE women’s health centers receive the funds previously earmarked for Planned Parenthood in Title X.
  • appointed a cabinet of many pro-life leaders
  • was the first President to appear at the March For Life- Canceled Huge Contract for Taxpayer-Funded Experimentation with Body Parts of Aborted Babies.
 
President Trump would love to sign a bill banning late-term abortions, but Democrats always stand in the way.
Senate Democrats voted 44-to-3 against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (to stop abortions after 20 weeks).
In the October 3, 2017 Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act vote in the House of Representatives: Republicans voted 234 -to- 2 to stop abortions after 20 weeks, and only 3 Democrats voted to stop abortions after 20 weeks.
 
Dude. C’mon. Like him or hate him Trump has done more for the pro life cause than any other current President. And regardless what his personal beliefs are or how crude his Tweets are, if he furthers the prolife agenda… why would you be angry at that?

I read anti Trump articles that ad hominem attack him and say he can’t be pro life because he used to be a womanizer and cheated on his wife and pro abortion. Talk about stupid strawman 3 card monte debate tactics.

And Jim… remember…the President doesn’t make bills…that is Congresses job so to say he hasn’t passed a pro life bill with a godless kill-your-children Democratic party in power of the House… well.
