I think its wonderful too, and like someone else already said, the first thing I thought of is that they will already be missing her and that really might help them too.
Thanks … it is wonderful - I just still worry for her classmates … they are still struggling …

Moe,
👋 Hi Vester 444:

Been thinking of you often and a lot lately again as always, and just have been a bad friend and havent written or posted to you. 😦

**This world doesn’t revolve around me and my problems - and I know that.

It is always a treat to hear from my friends and family at CAF - how are you doing?**

I think its wonderful that they are going to honor her that way. I dont think it would make anyone feel sad in the sense that they aren’t already. I think its honoring a life and a set of academic challenges that she already faced, and that everyone would know that if she were here would have accomplished to its completion. What a wonderful idea and I hope that Amanda can do it - maybe if she cant, you could go up or your husband? Just an idea.

Sunday was a day full of despair — Amanda went to FL with my in-laws and I was just so lonely for her and of course KK. I went through KK’s school stuff —she had gotten straight A’s all her academic life … and she would have, I am certain, in the 8th grade. I was so full of sadness … still really haven’t bounced back … missing her with every heartbeart … I know you must be sick of hearing about it - but it is true.

Constantly (and I MEAN IT) in my most heartfelt and fervent prayers, Moe. **Thank you my friend - as you are as well … keep the prayers coming … darkness seems to be all around, even when the sun is out 😦

Love and Big Hugs … Moe**

Your friend,
Vester

Hi there Moe,
I have bee watching the site as much as I can–have been gone a lot. I want to add my encouragement to you to accept the school’s offer. What a wonderful thing to do! The closeness of a small town is so rare in our world today. Don’t pass up the chance. As the years go by, people tend to forget, so these special memorials become a real treasure chest of memories.
I know Mother’s Day will be a hard day for you–it always is for me. I will continue praying for you all.
Alison
**Hi My Friend: We won’t - and yes, it is a wonderful thing. Our two towns (Amherst and Mont Vernon) are unbelievable. They are helping us along,. what you know, a horrible journey.

McKayla is being honored in so many ways, continuing every day … it is just unbelievable.

One of the Sr. at the High School is doing her Senior Project for McKayla —

**[Have you ever wondered what would happen if you and five of your good friends were stuck in a car for a night? On Wed, 5/7 Katelyn Dobbs will be putting on “CAR” in the Souhegan High School Theater @ 7:00 PM. Come watch this hilarious one act comedy skit about five good friends who experience one problematic night. Admission will be five dollars at the door and all proceeds will be donated to the McKayla Geisinger fund. Come watch and support Katelyn’s senior project!![/COLOR]

Just unbelievable … we are truly blessed - even though we are faced with this long journey of deep sadness. Mother’s day will be equally sad - won’t it - and for you even after the years have gone by … we ache for our children don’t we … hugs!!@!!!

Hope all is well with you and hubby … Love moe

**She says she will be able to do it … she is a very strong young lady - she is doing marvelously.

Good, let us all know when the graduation is and their willbe extra prayers for you all that day**

We got her a horse and she should get it next week … his name is Dawson …

I bet she is excited!!!

mackhill.net/riding-horses-for-sale.asp

He is the last horse on this page …

I pray for the kids … some of them are still not doing well over the loss of their friend.

I hope this graduation helps them

Loving you all, Moe
Mary

Hello Moe,

Here is something for you, that may help when you feel doubt or such pain:

youtube.com/watch?v=tD50Uf0wxRo

God bless you and your family.
**I wish I were FREE …I sit here after viewing that and tears are streaming down my face …if only I was FREE. It WAS beautiful … thank you … one day perhaps … I SHALL BE FREE … but right now … I am NOT.

Love Moe**

Hello Moe,

I am glad that you liked it. It is true that you are not free (and unlike what the video said, perhaps no one who has had such a loss is ever truly free), but what made this episode so special is the message that our loved ones who have passed on are all right, especially if they died as children. In this X-Files episode, Mulder finally found out what had happened to his long-lost sister and saw that she was happy and at peace in heaven. In this, he was finally comforted after being tormented for so long. This is our faith, and we do find comfort and assurance in it, that McKayla is indeed at peace and happy in her eternal life, and that she longs to embrace you and yours when your time comes to be with her.

Once again, Moe, God bless and strengthen you and yours.

Hello Moe,

Hi Benedictine!

I am glad that you liked it. It is true that you are not free (and unlike what the video said, perhaps no one who has had such a loss is ever truly free), but what made this episode so special is the message that our loved ones who have passed on are all right, especially if they died as children.

Yes, I trust that my baby girl is ALL RIGHT and Happier than ever before … but what doesn’t free us - is our missing her …everything about her is missed … and even though we know she wants for nothing … we want for her … it is a catch 22 isn’t it?

In this X-Files episode, Mulder finally found out what had happened to his long-lost sister and saw that she was happy and at peace in heaven. In this, he was finally comforted after being tormented for so long.

****YES, this is our faith - the very faith I taught McKayla … yet, I miss her … I miss everything about her … there isnt’ one minute of every day that I don’t think of her … she was exceptional … and I am not saying that because I was her mom … sooooo many people have told me that … why — why — would God give us this amazing child and then just take her away … especially Greg and I who tried and had surgery … just to be parents …WE WANTED HER … ****

This is our faith, and we do find comfort and assurance in it, that McKayla is indeed at peace and happy in her eternal life, and that she longs to embrace you and yours when your time comes to be with her.
I know … but it seems like that will be a life time away … and I had her and held her for 13 years … and it isn’t even just affecting us … it is affecting her friends - … why do they have to sustain such torment? Why them?

Once again, Moe, God bless and strengthen you and yours.

**Thank you … for I need prayers and help in understanding why he took Her … who was just so special.

As you can see I am struggling … struggling to accept His decision …

Loving you all xooxox

Moe … mom of MCKAYLA!!!**

Hello!!!👋
Have you ever seen this beautiful poem?
Edgar Guest’s poem

“This Child of Mine”

“I’ll lend you for a little while
A child of mine,” God said,
"For you to have the while she lives,
And mourn for when she’s dead.

It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three;
But will you 'till I call her back
Take care of her for me?

She’ll bring her charms to gladden you
And, should her stay be brief,
You’ll have her lovely memories
As a solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return;
But there are lessons taught below
I want this child to learn.

**I’ve looked the whole world over
In search for teachers true;
And from the throngs that crowd life’s land,
I have chosen you. **

Now, will you give her all your love
Nor think the labor vain?
Nor hate me when I come to take
This lent child back again?"

I fancied that I heard them say:
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joys Thy child will bring
The risk of grief we’ll run.

We’ll shower her with tenderness,
We’ll love her while we may.
And for the happiness we’ve known,
Be forever grateful for her stay.

But should Thy angel call for her
Much sooner than we’ve planned,
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand."

I thought of you when I saw this and thought the above that I bolded must be so true of you and your husband. You said that you wanted her so bad, and God gave her to you! He entrusted her care to you two, of all the people in this whole world. It sounds like you both gave her all that you knew about God and it sounds like everyone that knew of her loved her, so I’d say you both did an excellent job. I know you both must have prayed so much for her. That is why it is so heart-breaking for you, I know.
I just wanted to share this with you, I still keep you in my prayers, last week while I was at Eucharistic Adoration and at Mass during Holy Communion you came right into my prayers.
I pray that you will find the peace you seek and I know God will answer that prayer too. She was such a beautiful gift, let her love and memories of her continue to bless you.

hi Moe. I hope your Mother’s Day went alright. I was praying for you. God bless you!

I was also thinking of you yesterday, Moe. I can only imagine how incredibly empty and painful this occasion is for you. I pray someday you’ll be able to celebrate Mother’s Day with joy again. 😦

Moe:

So many of us are praying for you daily. We will never forget your emptiness and your needs. You’ll always be in my prayers. Just thought I’d let you know that…

Much love,

**Yes I have seen this - and it is so true - the reality is - they are borrowed and not ours …

I remember I would go into their room and just pray over them and put the sign of the cross on their heads … and thank God for them …

The pain is so hard … yet I offer it up and ask God what do you want to do with me today … please make me a better person, a better wife, mother, sister … there has to be a reason why we are suffering so …

Thanks again for the prayers … I just got this poem … which is so perfect as well - but I would rather be holding her and watching her be someone truly that would change the world … perhaps she will even though she isn’t here physically.

Mother’s Crown

Heaven lit up with His mighty presence,
As all the Angels looked down,
Today the Lord was placing the jewels,
In all the mother’s crowns.

As He held up a golden crown,
As all the mother’s looked on,
He said in His gentle voice,
I just want to explain each stone.

He held the first gem in His hand
But the radiance couldn’t match His own.
For He was the light of Heaven,
Reflecting off each of the stones.

The first gem, He said, is an emerald,
And it’s for endurance alone,
For all the nights you waited up,
For your children to come home,
For all the nights by their bedside,
You stayed till the fever went down,
For nursing every little wound,
I add this emerald to your crown.

A ruby, I’ll place by the emerald,
For leading your child in the right way,
For if you hadn’t taught them about me,
They wouldn’t be here with you today.

For always being right there,
Thru all life’s important events,
I give you a sapphire stone,
For the time and love you spent.

For untying the strings that held them,
When they grew up and left home,
I give you this one for courage,
Then the Lord added an amethyst stone.

I’ll place a stone of garnet, He said,
For all the times you spent on your knees,
When you asked me to take care of your children,
And them for having faith in me.

I have a pearl for every little sacrifice,
That you made without them knowing,
For all the times you went without,
To keep them happy, healthy, and growing.

And last of all I have a diamond,
The greatest of all gems,
For those mother’s who lost their children,
When they came home to heaven before them.

This is the most precious sacrifice,
So I give the most precious stone,
For I know just how you felt,
I too lost a child of my own.

After the Lord placed the last jewel in,
He said, Heaven is now complete,
For every mother has her crown of jewels,
And all her children are at her feet.

hi Moe. I hope your Mother’s Day went alright. I was praying for you. God bless you!
**Thank you my friend - I know you are all still praying and it means the world to me.

I am asking you to keep a special intention for me - and pray diligently … to try and help my family to be somewhat whole again - as whole as it can be without our McKayla.

I still don’t know how in the world we are to continue with such great pain … but we do — we have to endure to the end - if we want to be with her …

I feel so bad that I am still, a year plus away, in so much pain asking for a favor …

Loving you, Moe, McKayla’s Mom**

I was also thinking of you yesterday, Moe. I can only imagine how incredibly empty and painful this occasion is for you. I pray someday you’ll be able to celebrate Mother’s Day with joy again. 😦
**Thanks my friend … I pray that too - although - I am still the mom of Amanda and I am going to make sure I am the best mother in the world.

I get so short with her sometimes … and yet - she too is in pain.

Her horse arrived yesterday … I wish I knew how to post pictures … they would put a smile on your face … he is absolutely handsome. He arrived at 8:30 am on Mother’s Day … he is 15.5 hands and weighs one thousand pounds … he is gorgeous … that brought many smiles yesterday for her … and I truly didn’t cry in front of her yesterday - I didn’t want to steal her thunder.

I was greeted with two beautiful hanging baskets from Amanda and KK … Amanda still signs her card from her and KK … in some strange way that gives me such great comfort. If for only a moment I feel her right there with me … until I again realize that she is not here … but in some greater place. I was watching Amanda on Dawson (her horse) and I said - KK - r u riding right next to her with your horse?

I went to see KK later in the day — and just ask her to help us … to help us weather this storm.

In any event - the prayers are so welcomed … and if you could just throw in my special intention …

Loving you all and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Love and hugs, Moe**

Much love,
**Hey to you my friend - and thank you. Emptiness is such a perfect word for what we are facing … the lonliness is deafening … yet I can’t imagine how far off I would be without my daily prayer warriors from CAF … THANK YOU … forever - you all just might have saved my life during this year … although the year has been and continues to be empty … I trust that there is a plan - a greater plan that I will never know as long as I walk this earth.

I hope all of you had a peaceful and wonderful Mother’s Day.

I love you,

Moe**

It certainly sounds like your McKalya made a difference in her part of the world!
I looked at the other picture you posted of Dawson, earlier on, he’s amazing, horses are incredible creatures. Do you ride too? When I did, I use to feel like I could conquer the world, LOL, of course if I had to I would be a mess.:p…a much younger time in my life. Occasionally only walk around on one now, (don’t belong to us, but to other relatives, I use to love it when they ran all out when I was younger though.) Your Amanda sounds so sweet signing KK to your card…and two hanging baskets, one from KK.
That is just about to make me cry.
Your poem was wonderful, and our dear God and Blessed Mother do know how you feel and I am sure you know that. (I will keep your special intention in mind too while praying the Holy Rosary.) Again at Mass yesterday I thought of you, your husband, your daughter’s, McKayla and Amanda. God bless you and bring you peace. It is incredible to me that you would visit your daughter on Mother’s Day, you are one awesome woman.

It certainly sounds like your McKalya made a difference in her part of the world!

Yes she did - and she would never believe it. She didn’t think people liked her … it turns out - many of them where in Awe of her … .isn’t that the way! I remember one weekend she was crying and I walked in on her … she never cried - so I knew it had to be something to cry about - I said what is wrong honey - and she said … no one likes me - I don’t get asked over like Amanda does … and I told her that you don’t know what people’s lives are like behind close doors; I told her anyone you ask to sleep over or do something with is over here before you can put the phone down … don’t fret honey … it isn’t you!!! BROKE MY HEART! Few weeks later she was gone.

I looked at the other picture you posted of Dawson, earlier on, he’s amazing, horses are incredible creatures. Do you ride too?

I used to … when I was much younger … I am really afraid of Dawson - he is huge … but I will get used to him … Greg rode him last night around the yard - Greg is so athletic though - he can accomplish anything!

When I did, I use to feel like I could conquer the world, LOL, of course if I had to I would be a mess.:p…a much younger time in my life. Occasionally only walk around on one now, (don’t belong to us, but to other relatives, I use to love it when they ran all out when I was younger though.)

Your Amanda sounds so sweet signing KK to your card…and two hanging baskets, one from KK.
That is just about to make me cry.

**Amanda was always the most sensitive out of the two girls. KK was more independent - layed back … she was in a lot of ways a loner … She was so studious and so accomplished musically - she kept her self paced. It wasn’t until the last six months that she tried to be more loving like Amanda … I dont’ know why - but she felt that she needed to - perhaps in a strange way she knew … I don’t know … **

Your poem was wonderful, and our dear God and Blessed Mother do know how you feel and I am sure you know that. (I will keep your special intention in mind too while praying the Holy Rosary.)

Thanks so much - truly …

Again at Mass yesterday I thought of you, your husband, your daughter’s, McKayla and Amanda. God bless you and bring you peace. It is incredible to me that you would visit your daughter on Mother’s Day, you are one awesome woman.

**No she was an incredible daughter … thanks for the prayers … always welcomed — definately always needed - especially the special intention …

Thanks for the comfort … you can’t even begin to understand what it means to me.

Loving you - Moe**
