I was surprised, as well. But now that Regina magazine has publicly announced that it will no longer refer to Francis as pope, we’re in very weird territory. Scary.
This did all happen during Pope St JPII’s time as well. The biggest movement of sedevacantism in the Churchs history was the ultra conservatives rejecting JPII’s authority as Pope. We just didn’t have the internet to foment the bile like we do today.

traditionalists.
The problem with traditionalist groups is that many are demonic groups leading the naive behind a facade of piety and tradition. Take for example the Palmarian Church, a traditionalist group that was founded by an original follower of SSPX who was ordained by Archbishop Lefevre himself. Notice these poor people and families all dressed up in traditional religious garb, praying with their Pope Peter III. The second video shows one of their previous popes (“Pope Gregory XVII”) experiencing a “miraculous vision” in Their cathedral, despite being struck blind in a car accident years earlier. Don’t be fooled; the devil is tricky…

Marshall clearly believes he’s responding to potential schism. I wonder if he considers whether he’s fomenting schism.

The traditionalist group known as the Palmarian Church are an example of the fruit of many traditionalist groups who set themselves up against the authentic popes.

It’s sad when there are anti-popes opposing the true and only valid Pope, but you have to admire their faith and staunchly traditional approach to the Catholic faith!

Having a ‘staunchly traditional approach’ is not in and of itself admirable. ie the Pharisees.

And how about the ones that don’t? How about the FSSP? The ICKSP whose patronal feast was yesterday? Tha Canons of St. John Cantius? The Clear Creek Benedictine brothers? The Benedictine nuns of Our Lady Queen of Apostles? The Norbertine Canonesses of the Bethlehem Priory of St. Joseph? How about all of them? What are the fruits of those traditional groups?

Gosh, I only made a compliment toward them. Are they really that bad?

Marshall critics clearly believe he’s possibly fomenting schism. I wonder if they’ve considered whether he’s responding to potential schism.

I didn’t say they were inspiring. Considering though their extremely small following, they have better ceremonies and liturgies than an average Catholic parish. 🤷‍♂️

I think those who are rational have.

And I’d like to know who’s the ding-a-lung who keeps flagging my posts in this thread. Will the real ding-dong have the courage to reveal himself?..
I’m not the one who’s doing it, but you’ve apparently peeved someone by painting all traditionalists by the same brush.

I wonder if that’s what I did in the first post of this thread, which also got flagged. ??

But those aspects which are your opinion, simply don’t make for holiness and charity and the fruits of grace we traditionally know. Fr Ripperger has this year issued a timely warning about the grave problems and poison fruits coming out of the traditionalist movement regardless of all the shows of piety.
