You do have a point. However I must disagree with your generalisations too. While many animes have elements which are magical, kabalistic, even pornographic, many if not most have many redeeming features and contain very little to none of the negative things you mentioned.
Sex in anime. I would say that this does not occur in 90% of anime. Anime characters virtually never have sex. There may be innuendo but always at the last moment someone gets cold feet or some event happens which prevents anyone taking it further. In a way I think this is a good thing, it shows youngesters that they can have fun, without sexual stuff. That they get embarrassed, girl slaps the guy for mistakenly walking in on her while she emerges from the shower or she accusses him of being a pervert further reinforces this. Usually the characters become drawn to each other for physical reasons but ultimately they discover a non-sexual approach to each other - the girl is hot tempered or she has a weird interest in this or that and this becomes admired by the guy. Sex is always made a big deal in anime shows. Many characters want to save themselves for marriage or at least someone they really love. By contrast most western shows and films depict it as a matter of fact, an inevitibility that friends and unmarried couples will do it sooner or later.
There is much virtue in many animes. The themes of redemption, forgiveness, self sacrifice (even giving your life for your friends), friendship, perseverence, unrequited love, loyalty, comraderie, etc.
Should all programming contain overtly religious themes? I don’t think so. I for one wouldn’t want to think of religious themes when unblocking my toilet. Programming should contain moral themes and themes positive or at least neutral to Christ when they appear but I don’t think Christ should be mentioned explicitly always. Negative reception to the show may turn to negative feelings towards the religious message. I think this would cheapen the message of Christ if we associated it with big explosions and goofy humour.
Occultism does occur in some anime and magic is many - magic being another form of advanced technology. However it is usually a device. The girl magician may cast a spell but she does not worship the devil and she is usually motivated by Christian like ideas and sinful ordinary human nature (like ours). Often allusions are made to God too, however because many Japanese are spiritual in a vague sense, their conceptions of God may not be the same as ours. We should take note of that and be prepared to correct errors when discussing this with others especially friends from Japan.
Now sometimes anime shows do abuse Christian symbols and that I think is unwatchable. But this is a small minority. I have complained to one publisher via way of a Japanese friend who is sympathetic to Catholicism. I think we could all write emails to Japanese producers who abuse Christian symbols and God.
Very few animes have disobedience to parents. Usually characters have no parents or their parents are absent. I’ve seen disobedience to parents on a very rare occasion.
I’ve seen disobedience to figures of authority who issue immoral commands however. On many occasions a character is told to kill another but at the last moment he or she refuses to do it. This ties in with themes of redemption and forgiveness in anime which are often subtle but nethertheless present in many shows.
Watching a show about believers in Gaia is not the same as believing in Gaia or even having sympathies for it. Most people watch anime for comedy, drama (usually cheesy soap opera sentimentality), action and the exoticism that Japanese producers bring in. Hopefully very few anime fans derrive their ideology or philosophy from anime. I will agree with you that it is however possible and that some weakly minded persons could become influenced by some themes but usually these themes are used as mere plot devices and contain very little detail. I think the greatest issue is with pornographic elements or elements which contain outright blasphemy. The former is more common and the latter is very rare. Hence write to complain. I think the commit the latter out of ignorance usually.
I think modern Western TV/film are far worse than anime shows. Lessons from anime hyperrealism and exoticism are assimilated less than contemporary, non-exotic, subtle TV/film. After all who would use a deformed ancient Samurai character as a role model over Brad Pitt or Matt Damon?
