There are no popular far left insurrectionists. The far left groups may want to control policy, just like all groups, right and left, want to control policy. But they do not want to go to war with the government.
I think Antifa is certainly insurrectionist. There are elements of BLM that are, too.

I could see that. I have a buddy in Cincinnati. Very polarized. I have the benefit of there being 1 Biden supporter in my entire county that we know of. If there’s any others they keep it to themselves.

If your haven’t noticed the chaos and civil unrest ,then yes I agree, you must be observing a different country

I’ve noticed. But I don’t believe it’s all because people can’t accept defeat. COVID, BLM… There’s a lot more going on and I think what you’re suggesting is a red herring. Just my opinion.

What happened is the left pounced on these incidents as a means of thrusting their agenda on this a Nation. These are organized protesters going around the country creating chaos and civil unrest.

You seem to have accepted a pretty hefty set of assumptions. There are people in my local community who are protesting and I’d wager money they aren’t being paid for their time or coming from other communities (I know some of these folks as neighbors). I’m not saying I agree with them. But I do think they believe in their cause. Thinking that this is all a conspiracy of the left isn’t going to solve anything IMO.

Probably all of the above. You doubt my assertions? I’ve seen the same people on videos at different stages protesting.

I’ve been a protestor in the past 4 years, though not BLM-related. I wasn’t paid. My friends and neighbors there weren’t paid. No fair. I want my money.

Peaceful protests
are not the same as rioting looting burning down buildings, throwing bags of feces or worse at the police.

Maybe not in the most literal sense, but the political system was designed to benefit the white minority and exclude the black majority from political institutions. Voter qualifications based on wealth and education were essentially designed to maintain the position of the white minority. South Africa was one of the few nations to acknowledge its independence as valid.

So, an authoritarian who oppresses individual rights (a redundancy) is okay as long as he doesn’t call himself a fascist or communist?

Honestly, authoritarianism is evil regardless of the color shirt they wear.
A little authoritarianism by Pilate might have saved the most just man ever from democracy.
What difference does that make if individual rights are “ False idols of American materialism?”
Catholic Europe got along just fine without Enlightenment concepts.

No, they certainly aren’t. For the record, I didn’t throw any feces.

I think “enlightenment” ideas worked best when there was the safety net of Christianity to curb its excesses.

Now that safety net isn’t there and everybody has rights but no responsibilities.

They were running on stolen intellectual capital while simultaneously undercutting the foundation of said capital.
