Spontaineous is great but don’t you think is part of a guys job or take care of a lady and make her happy. 🤷:confused:👍

It was an amazing ULL. Gave parts of west TN over a foot. I had 1.8" of snow with a water equivalent of 0.38". The county next to me got 5-9". Glad you are taking classes on it. When I graduate HS, that’s what I plan to do.
 
I like going on the big cruise ships. My favorite is the Carnival cruiseline because it is afordable for singles. I am retired so I cruise 4 times per year. I like to cruise in May, Sept.,Oct, and Dec. Those are the best months to cruise at a lower rate.

Does anybody else like to cruise? I have cruised to Alaska, Mexico ports, Canada/New England, and lots of times to all of the caribbean islands. Lucy

This leads to many potential problems, the Catholic view of politics, family,what worship should look like…are different just to mention a few things. If a husband dose not approve of the rosary and the mother dose, we have a problem because the husband is head of the house just as Christ is head of the church… technicaly the children are obligated to obey the father until there adults.

Why would anyone want to experience things like that?

Even when you do marry with in your faith, you hav to careful to keep growing togeter in that faith. My ex was “catholic” (I had no idea how little “c”) until 5 years into our marriage. at the end I had to hide the Rosaries…actually it was when they came back out that God gave me the strength I neede to see truth.

Some of us who have been around the bend thought the flowers went extinct, do they still exhist?!

Just Be vigilant and Keep Christ in the middle of your marriage, all relationships really!

No one can keep another happy, that would not be a healthy outlook, very co-dependant. However Jesus tells us to Love our wives…He is to provide and protect, and love in action…that always makes a woman feel secure…and that leads to happiness.
Love is an Action…not a feeling.

Yes husbands and wifes also have roles in a marriage. You can say its my husbands or wifs JOB to do so and so.

In that situation, on valentine day a husband stops by whatever store
is close and grabs flowers and candy at a reasonable price and brings them back, not spending much time. But he did his JOB.

But if husband and wife do out of LOVE. The wife gets candy and flowers sent to her job…she thinks that’s her gift, until she comes home to candels music dinner…and you know the rest.

the later is better in my humble opinion.

I am a never married, childless man of 59 years, in Minnesota. Marriage and kids were never high priorities for me, so I focused on other aspects of life. Reading, biking, outdoor exercise, woodworking, and dancing are some of my favorite activities.

Over the millennia, I dated only now and then, and rarely with Catholic women.

Very few women near my age have not married. But I really don’t need very many.

Being single is OK, but requires enjoying one’s own company.

Women can be a temptation. No. Make that a great temptation.

actually just yesterday i went on a cruise. but that wasnt one which went on for a week. It was one that went on for a few hours. I quite enjoyed it! i loved the dress that i bought for the occasion. but actualli the boat itself wasnt too flashy but then again it was a cruise fundraiser for the catholic chaplaincy at my uni. However, it was a fun night.

-I am 21 and I live in the great state of Texas.
-I am studying Special Education. I love kids! I was recently elected as an officer for the Student Council for Exceptional Children.
-I really enjoy volunteering. I tutor at elementary schools and mentor at a children’s center. I spend every weekend volunteering with an organization called Helping Hands. (it’s a volunteer organization that organizes different events/service projects for college kids to participate in)
-On nice days when I get time to myself I like to sit under my favorite tree on campus next to the pond and read a good book.
-Family is very important to me. I really enjoy spending time with my family. I only see them one weekend out of the month because I live 4 hours away from them. I am excited for spring break because I get to spend time with them for a whole 10 days 🙂
-My favorite part of the day iswaking up and knowing that God has blessed me with another day to do good with great love.

My friend’s mom work’s in a school system in the area of special ed. I have a lot of respect for those who go into it. It seems like a challenging and faceted area of education. There are so many different issues that can be in the category of a “special ed” student. It takes special people to be able to go into the field (no pun intended). best of luck!
