If your unaware of the 90% black on black crime there is little more I can present to you. Not every one of those crimes are shootings but a strong percentage are. You’ll have to look into a crime data base to be informed as to the actual details of the cities. You can start with NY, they occur with some regularity. None of what I’m saying negates white on white shooting.
And furthermore says nothing about Native American Hispanic Pacific Islander on Native American Hispanic Pacific Islander crime either.

But now that the video has been released and shows GZ in handcuffs, MSNBC is changing the subject, telling us “Gee, he doesn’t really look beaten up. There’s no blood, no gaping wounds, no gore. The grass stains on his back are not visible to the camera.”

And people are falling again for MSNBC. 😦

As if the MSNBC folks were medical experts who medically examined GZ’s injuries.

People seem to not get it: bashing your head against the pavement can kill you. I had a friend who died like that. Bashing his head against the pavement (traffic accident) caused cerebral hemorrhage that wasn’t outwardly visible, yet it killed my friend who was 25 years old.
Now thats a damaging piece of evidence. I seen it at noon. theres not that much cleaning up in the world with a broken nose.

That I can believe, and a similiar statistic is probably true in London. However this was a crime committed by a gentleman who is not a criminal, also I dislike how over the course of the thread words like thug keep creeping in wherever Martin is discussed in relation to him personally. You feel at times you are only inches away from someone saying, ‘You know how they are’ or ‘what can you expect’.
There are two sides to this story. We have been innundated with portrayals of GZ as the racist thug who hunted down and murdered an angelic little boy because he was black. Zimmerman and his family has received thousands of death threats, can’t even come out of hiding. Have the Media, Hollywood, and the politicians gone too far? Would it be completely unbelievable at this point if the facts came out that George Zimmerman is a devout Catholic man devoted to his wife and father to an infant child who got caught up in reporting a suspicious person and waylaid while on his way to the store to buy baby formula? A part of me fears that it is.

Last week the Michael Nutter, Mayor of my city, the City of Killadelphia, stated on national television that Trayvon Martin had been assassinated. Michael Nutter is African-American and hails from my alma mater. I’ve ever defended him even when Foreign Countries have had to step in to protest his handling of race relations in the city. I guess you could say I am a little disillusioned at this point.

Then we have this latest story:shrug:

"Police video taken the night that Trayvon Martin was shot dead shows no blood or bruises on George Zimmerman, who has said he shot Martin after the teen punched him in the nose, knocked him down and slammed his head into the ground.

The surveillance video, shown Wednesday on ABC’s “World News Tonight,” shows neighborhood watch volunteer Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser. As he exits the car, his hands are cuffed behind his back.

In the video, an officer is seen pausing to look at the back of Zimmerman’s head, but no abrasions or blood can be seen. The network slows the video down and focuses closely on Zimmerman’s head. No injuries are visible; he appears fine."

When did they start cleaning you up and changing you before you were arrested? Oh I know they do that in Florida? 😃

You don’t think that if Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose and head that they would have treated him at the scene?

Could you imagine the law suit if someone wasn’t treated before they were questioned? In addition, they may very well ask you for your clothes, so they can start processing them. Continue to wear them and they may become contaminated.

According to the police report, posted earlier in the thread, Zimmerman WAS treated at the scene. I have no idea if he was asked for his clothes or not, but certainly wouldn’t have expected to see him bleeding from various parts of his body as he was lead into the police station.

Heres the rest of the article, a bit extrodinary if you ask me. But hey I hear thats how its goes in the county:thumbsup:

"Zimmerman, 28, appears to be a burly, powerfully built man. He is clad in red and black fleece jacket and his face and head are cleanly shaven. The absence of hair on his head and face would make injuries and blood easier to see if he had any.

The initial police report said Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of the head and nose after the shooting. He was treated by paramedics and it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel to the police station for questioning.

His lawyer later insisted that Zimmerman’s nose had been broken in his scuffle with 17-year-old Martin. The lawyer, Craig Sonner, said his client felt “one of them was going to die that night,” when he pulled the trigger.

After ABC played the video Wednesday night, participants in the shooting case weighed in.

Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, discussed the video on CNN.

“According to the police report, Zimmerman sustained injuries, but when we looked at this video, it was obvious that there were no visible injuries.” Fulton said. “There was no blood on his shirt.”

Martin observed that Zimmerman’s posture was inconsistent with someone who was injured and had a broken nose. In the video, Zimmerman walks with his head upright, Martin says, which would encourage blood flow, yet none is seen.

The family’s attorney, Benjamin Crump, told CNN that the tape was “a smoking gun.”

“This clearly shows that the police report was a complete fabrication,” Crump said. “It’s obvious to us that they conspired to cover this up, to cover up the death of Trayvon Martin.”

One reason police did not arrest Zimmerman was that they accepted his account of the shooting, which had Martin attacking him first. In Florida, stand-your-ground laws allow a person to defend themselves against attack.

In its report Wednesday, ABC News said it had learned that the lead homicide investigator filed an affidavit urging Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter. The prosecutor, however, told the officer to not file the charge because there was not enough evidence for conviction.

Zimmerman said he was heading back to his car when Martin attacked him.

Martin’s girlfriend, who was on the phone with him in his final moments, told ABC News that she has not been interviewed by police, despite Martin telling her he was being followed.

The 16-year-old girl, who is only being identified as DeeDee, recounted the final moments of her conversation with Martin before the line went dead.

“When he saw the man behind him again he said this man is going to do something to him. And then he said this man is still behind him and I said run,” she told ABC.

Phone records obtained by ABC News show that the girl called Martin at 7:12 p.m., five minutes before police arrived, and remained on the phone with Martin until moments before he was shot.

DeeDee said Martin turned around and asked Zimmerman why he was following him.

“The man said what are you doing around here?” DeeDee recalled Zimmerman saying.

She said she heard someone pushed into the grass before the call was dropped.

The furor over the Martin shooting has led to many rumors and false information. Movie director Spike Lee re-tweeted the alleged address of Zimmerman to Lee’s Twitter followers.

But the address was wrong. Now, the couple who lives there claim they had to flee the home and they’ve hired a lawyer.

“At this point, they have retained us to protect their interests” and their safety, attorney Matt Morgan said of Elaine and David McClain, an elderly Sanford-area couple"

The person most likely to assault you is a relative or other member of your household. Neighbors get in fights; people tend to drink too much in establishments surrounded by people with a similar culture. Petty thieves usually start in their own neighborhoods. It isn’t too surprising, given that thieves like to “work” where they will blend in and not that many neighborhoods are integrated that most victims are a similar color to the offender who commits a crime against them.

It is fear that tells us that criminals will tend to look different than we do. That happens, but not so often as otherwise.

I find it hard to believe that the police could get paramedics to lie on their medical reports. If the paramedics say the guy had an injury, I’d tend to believe he did. That he was injured, however, does not prove that he was not the aggressor. How that will come out in court, whether the DA thinks there is a case is anybody’s guess. Someone’s testimony has to be believed over someone else’s, and everyone has their own bias, consciously or not. There is a lot of pressure to charge this fellow, but DAs do not make their careers by losing high-profile cases. (There won’t be a smaller riot if the case is lost than if there were never any charges!)

No I don’t believe any of that for a moment. He would have to have a bandage on, cotton up his nostils something. Or he didn’t receive treatment. Thats perposterous.

I’m not sure about the protocall in that county but I could tell you this for fact. I seen a man at a traffic stop on A1A in Daytona, taken out of his car and asked to sit on the curb, while the police went through his car. This is for a Traffic Violation! After they beat him when he refused, to the point of shock, they threw him in the car handcuffed and took him away. And to answer your question NO. I don’t believe it, and have NEVER seen such a ambulance touch up, before the police station either.

I have seen people taken from the Police Dept to the Hospital after the arrest. I have seen people go directly to the Hosp, with Trauma injurys, but no, some idea of a touch up in the ambulance then off to the station after a murder? Never have I seen treatment like that before unless the person was NOT being detained. 🤷

But hey perhaps this county is different. Point being IF he was seriously injured to start he would gone to the Hospital.

Where did the new cloths that fit come from without the blood? Oh they were on the ambulance:D You ever see someone break their nose? There is no such thing as a non-bleeding broken nose:shrug:

So not only did the police lie in their report. Those that treated Zimmerman are also lying? Anyone else also lying? Maybe you can give us a list of people that are not lying.

So they treated him with No Bandages for a Broken Nose, gave him, a new shirt, jacket. and pants. I know that was Door # Three :rotfl: Wow I’m stupified. 😃

If you say so.

I said,

In other words, according to the police report, he was treated at the scene. Doesn’t matter to me whether you believe it or not.

Also, I never said he was outfitted with new clothes. What I said was, “I have no idea if he was asked for his clothes.”

So not only did the police lie in their report. Those that treated Zimmerman are also lying?
Apparently thats how cover-ups work. You can think of another way?😃

Hows that saying go? The Truth is often stranger than Fiction. 🤷

Kinda like how GW Bush got the whole government to cover up his destroying of the twin towers.

Well while this extrodinary story is grown by the moment we might as well say that Ambulance cleaned him up also, and he healed quickly:thumbsup:
I can get a bleeding head laceration under control in 5 minutes with lidocaine and epinephrine. And bruising takes 24-48 hours to show up. I am pretty certain they weren’t on the scene that long.

Scott go to You Tube and view the film. I don’t want to link it, the language is terrible. But there is not a mark on the man. Its not a question of getting it under control. Theres not a mark, bandage nothing, back of head or front of face. Clean clothing? I don’t know, its getting stanger by the minute.

Did you see the East haven case? This crazy behavior does happen. I believe as of recent the commisioner also was fired after a racial remark about going home and eating Tacos. We all would like to think everyones best interest is up front. However, this case stinks and gets worse by the moment.
