It is a book volume in a book identifying it as the plan in a Pandemic. I admit, I have not memorized the book so I can recite it to you.

Geez All I has to do is type in Dr Faichi states the virus isn’t a concern for the USA.Several articles came up the first one mentioned late Feb he was still insisting it wasn’t a concern.Another one quotes himself saying this as late as March10;.He’s the “ expert”

Which tells people what?
Experts are sometimes wrong so:
Public policy by Magic 8 ball is an equal strategy?

What it tells us is the blame put on Trump is misplaced. The blame goes first and foremost tomChuna. Then if anybody should be held accountable for not acting swiftly here,Dr Fsuchi was counselingvTrump re the impact of this virus.

The Chinese lied about human to human transmission as late as January 14th and only a week later did they finally admit to it.

In that time the CCP allowed tens of thousands of Chinese families to celebrate the Chinese New Year in a public potluck and gave another 5 million liberty to travel mainland and abroad during an epidemic.

Delayed responses, lies, suppression and cover ups were the order of the day in dealing with covid-19.

Indeed but I have higher expectations for my own government than I do for a totalitarian state.

How much mass transit do they use in Florida? Let’s be fair, here. If Florida takes off because they have a very high population of elderly people, I wouldn’t think it fair to compare their survival figures to Utah.
It’s taken off all over NY state, not just in the city. And you point out a key risk for FL, their high elderly population in assisted living. That’s where most of the NY deaths came from, and I’d wager they don’t use the subway if they left care.

NY has a high death rate because of how they responded. Conversely, HK has greater density, exposure to China, and use of public transport, yet they controlled it.

Though I would expect higher figures for NY, the comparison is more of a dig at the media and their unfair coverage of governors, apparently based on party lines.

I think in a year we’ll have an idea what could have been done better. Yes, even out here they’re finding that certain skilled care centers were cutting corners in ways that spelled COVID-19 disaster. (One near me has lost its license.)

Trump is only the President of the States where he won ! Fortunately ,there will be more GOP who will not vote for him again ,including the Romneys,McCain ,Bushes ,Reagans to name a few .Even my friend ,who was a stalwart Trump supporter has already told me that he will vote for anybody ,but T. He (T) does not care the lives even of his Base supporters,he only cares about their votes .He does not care about about the victims of Covid-19 ,he only cares about his ego . . . . My German friend ,another ex Trump supporter called me earlier that he is extremely disappointed that T has no interests in saving lives ,but more of being reelected . Its unfortunate that many T supporters still believe that Covid 19 is a hoax .Two of them died already from it ,including that Pastor from W.Virginia !

Dvdjs gave me a link to an article which linked to it. I have to read it on something bigger than my phone so it will be a while before I know what it says 🙂

Yes, you should but it doesn’t change what happened and how it affected the world.

Trump may have made some tactical errors but I don’t think he could have stopped what was coming. Infected people were already in America for weeks possibly even months before the first case was confirmed.

We know the world over would have been better prepared if China had been more forthright about human to human transmission and the severity of the disease earlier on.

Never said he could have stopped it, but he could have taken it seriously and not simply wished it away; that’s what I find unforgivable. Also once he tried to grapple with it, his government’s response was haphazard and chaotic to a degree I’ve never seen before, showing how dysfunctional this administration is. It feels like we almost don’t have a federal government.

I’ve said it before, but you can’t bluster your way through a pandemic.

The blame always falls where the buck stops. Because only one man has the power to guide the many choices.
