I guess I see the current Administration as partisan both against Democrats and against Republicans who don’t bow and scrape or join in with the pretense that he is simply the best President the US has ever seen, a pretense which inexplicably started not when he accomplished something but essentially from the day after his election. The only thing partisan is the cover-up of the fact that plans and resources were in place and not utilized when it mattered. So much effort to conceal the truth.
Barack Obama could admit that George Bush’s Administration had accomplished something. George Bush could admit that Bill Clinton accomplished something. Bill Clinton could admit that George H.W. Bush accomplished something. Previous Presidents could applaud their predecessors, even those in the opposition party and even though they had serious issues with much that their predecessors said and did. That isn’t the way our political machinery works now.
