That was a very long time ago. Let’s go back 15 years and look at the past, no. They are irrelevant and have been for a very long time.

Again Fred Phelps was already dead when the Supreme decided on buffer zones and tht was 6 years ago.

No because it is in the past. The buffer zone law was decided on in 2014 after Fred Phelps was already dead.

What relevance does Fred Phelps being dead have? The ruling enforcing the buffer zone was against the church, not Fred Phelps

He was the head of the Westoboro Baptist church and his children have since turned against him You brought up this church but it has been irrelevant for a very long time. He was prominent a long time ago.

The church has not been active in a very long time so this ruling that you speak of has no relevance. The ruling that does have relevance is the buffer zone law that was unanimously passed by the Supreme Court of America stating that buffer zones are illegal. You canntot tell protesters where they can stand on a sidewalk.

Tommy Robinson has been ban from twitter and paypal allowing no fund rasing. My problem with cases like this is that social media has taken up the cause instead of allowing the courts to dictate.

The same in the Alex Jones case. He was barred from social media and funding sources.

We live in a society that has freedom of speech. We don’t get to decide what that speech is. If it is deemed harmful to other then the courts will get involved. Tommy Robbinson is one man who represents no one but Tommy Robinson…

Again you thought this was off topic but maybe it is right on topic. Prince Harry is seeking global iniatives to censor social media.

That does become another thread - Social media and censor of some people. We do have a court system and a system of justice to deal with that and it does work. We saw that is the deflamation of a US student by major news sources.

I understand it is a deflamation case and he is facing up to 2 years in prison for that. People on social media say all kinds of nasty things and no one is going to jail.

He has already lost his rights to social media and his funding by cutting off Paypal.

I am asking what the legal codes are for deflamation cases. I have no idea of legal rights to social media or paypal in the UK or in the USA for that matter. No court cases have come up but I am sure they will.

Tommy Robinson has been cut off from social media and funding. Aside from that, the courts have to make a judgement on the law suit filed by the family for $125,000. or 100,000 pounds.

He is also facing up to 2 years in jail.
