If you’re implying that I would beat my wife, how dare you? If you’re trying to make the same lame comparison, just stop avoiding the reality of it. There’s no point in trying to compare it to anything else because it is a fairly unique situation. Mr. Jones’ actions had intent behind them… he intended to illicit a response and anyone with half a brain knew it would be unpleasant and very likely violent.

As far as my question… fine I’ll re-word it:

If you had nothing else to deter you except the knowledge that it **could **result in violence… would YOU have done it?

First, I feel no need to do such a thing so your question is, in fact, unanswerable.

Secondly, if I did feel the need to do so then I would go ahead and do so.

Protesting an abortion clinic could have a violent result. It doesn’t mean that the action should not be taken.

Now, if this were such and issue with Islam, why was the violence only in Afghanistan?

I’m pretty sure the Vatican condemns murder period regardless of the circumstances surrounding it.
