I take it you have a PH.D in psychology??? `Don’t use that ultra liberal argument that liberals use when they are loosing an argument, because no one in these ORTHODOX forums are going to fall for that. I guess the Bible’s authors must need help, after all I cited their stories. It is because of these types all, that I am thankful that we have a NEW Pope (oh the liberals and feminists will love him, NOT.)

The stupid beer goggles shot is to show just how stupid some of us are…we might go out and get loaded and then do things that we rationally will not do. It was patently not my intention to deride anyone who might be self-conscious about their weight (which I am also) and I apologize for that.

Nightrider…hey I’m sorry about that response if it bothers you but I had tried to be nice about it and the lady just wouldn’t let it go. I frankly could pretty well care less about anyone’s agenda in here…feminazi or otherwise. I do resent anyone implying that I was targetting the ladies with the passges from Ecclesiastes. It has always been a statement of regret from a guy who messed up and is paying the dues for it after the fact. Messed up life, broken heart, yadda yadda yadda… Still, it does cut both ways and all a lady would have to do is change the gender of the passage and it sure would sound the same sort of regret of her feelings as well I would think.

My response to SB was one of frustration at being blasted by her as she clearly read something into my post that was not there and would not let it go. There is a limit to the amount of stuff that anyone should have to take before simply telling someone they are outta line and walking away.

I would like to say that it was a blessing to share with Misericordie and to try to help him overcome a weakness in his life that most all of us have, have battled with more or less success, and have found grace to deal with.

Don’t worry or be intimidated by the ULTRA feminists here. I and friend have encountered these types before, the same that want to be priests etc. The same that don’t want EQULAITY, but are resentful for being a woman, and want to really be MEN. Well, I am a man, and I wish I could be a mom.
This is the type that we have in our Catholic churches in the USA that drive pastors crazy by their giving him advice on “how to do things.”

Hi Misericordie,

I have read your story with great interest. I can definitely relate to what you wrote, for in my own experiences back in my younger days, I came across much the same thing you did with this woman.

In my case, there were several women. By their sins and their embracing of the ways of this world, they had inadvertantly allowed themselves to be used by evil in order to harm others, including myself. At first, they all appeared to be normal, beautiful, kind, and gentle women. But then as time went on, they turned on me because I could not (and would not) compromise myself in their sins. Eventually, they became very hateful and violent to the point where I would have been completely destroyed had not the Lord saved me on each one of these occasions.
In the end, what has always been my balance and strength has been the love and support of my very beautiful wife. Because of her, I am made whole and could never stray or give into the temptations of the other women that we have encountered in our lives. I hope that you will find such a woman for yourself, Misericordie, or if not, then at least open yourself completely up to a loving relationship with our Blessed Mother Mary (who will also help you in your marriage relationship, too!) if you have not already.

Thank you, yes the BEST advice I got here yet, not filled with the “me” and feelings but with truth and reality. Yes, I will always remember your advice. I do realize too that I too could have said NO to all this, but I DID after I told her: “loose my number forever.” After that one time “thing” before things got worse down the road. We must be on guard against the type of women (for men) and this type of man(for women) always. “beware, because your enemy the devil roams around the world seeking whom to devour” (New Testament).
 

It’s not a liberal’s fault, nor modern society’s fault you have issues with your sexuality or women. The sooner you seek help the sooner you will become healtheir. I doubt a, rational, Orthodox Catholic or the new pope, would believe this woman is evil because *you felt sexual attraction * and you are terrified of it and women.​

I hope though this person is trolling. Sadly, I doubt it. There are many out there like him too. They usually come from homes where the father is extremely dominant and abusive to his family, and the mother very submissive.

Give it a rest…I wrote several posts that were well considered and charitable…you ignored every one because they did not play into your obsess ional and misogynistic ego. Finally, after you go way off the deep-end lumping all the women on this thread as “ULTRA FEMINISTS” and creating an “us against them” conflict–I’d had enough. boy–did that elicited a retort! Apparently you have a problem with assertive woman and feel you must label them so that you can dismiss them. I guess all women are either “evil seductresses” or “ultra feminists” to you–what a lonely life you will have considering you’ve just marginalized 51% of the world’s population. I guess you do deserve pity. :nope:

Ladies, I’m confused. Misericordie’s first post decribed a woman whose behavior was far from innocent and pure. Calling her ‘evil’ may only reveal his own naivete rather than any sort of malice -he apparently doesn’t know many people who behave like that, which is good. He also resisted the tempation. Why are you attacking him? Did you even read his post, or just the title? I’m sorry, but you seem to be reading everything through “feminist goggles” which only allow you to percieve evil, horndog men and innocent female victims. I pity *you. *It must be terrible going through life with such a skewed, confrontational outlook.

If you read the title of my post rationally instead of emotionally, you will notice “WAS she evil”? I did not title it SHE is evil. Anyway, I am sure there have been some evil men and women in history.
