What did Jesus bring to the world that was not already brought by Moses?

Well, if by “beautific vision” you mean you get to enjoy a nice dinner at Ponderosa, then I can’t argue with that.

But what Catholics mean by Beatific Vision is the Wedding Feast of the Lamb.

So I’m quite sure you are not experiencing any Beatific Vision every time you pray your long prayer.
How do you know?

So who is the “Author of Lies” in the Catholic religion?

…and is he/she a different person to the “Author of Lies” in the Protestant religion?
There is no Protestant religion. Rather, there are tens of thousands of different Protestant beliefs, so I cannot make any claim to speak for what they believe.

Fair enough, answer the first question only then please 🙂

See post #308.

I already cited it.

You don’t remember typing that? It was only last night, Servant.
I still never said that they were going to Hell, I was simply outlining the logics which you were presenting, not making a statement

I still never said that they were going to Hell,
Excellent.

Since you are not Catholic I don’t expect you to know all the teachings of Catholicism, but here’s one you ought to know: Catholicism does not profess to know the demographics of hell.

We have never declared any single person to be there.

So I give you permission, when speaking to a clueless Catholic who tells you that Person A is in hell, to say, “What you are saying is above your pay grade as a Catholic. Even your Church magisterium does not claim to know that Person A is in hell, and neither should you.”

But if you were a Catholic who lived a day before Jesus was crucified, you would know exactly who was in Hell right?

Why do you ask?
Well, I’m considering enrolling, but I was hoping that when I do and I ask a question such as “What does the Wedding Feast of the Lamb look like?” that I would not get a response like “Read the Book of Revelation”

😛

(love and hugs)

You’d rather someone make something up than tell you where exactly to find the correct answer? That seems strange, at best, and more than a little dishonest at worst.

If you asked, “Who is the Author of Lies” and I was a Catholic in your RCIA class, knowing you from the CAFs, I would look pointedly at you and say, lovingly, “Servant, I am quite certain that you know the answer to this question, and I would appreciate it if you would stop pretending that you don’t know. You do that a lot and, frankly, it makes you appear disingenuous when you ask questions that we all know you know the answer to.”

I don’t believe the above is why you asked if I had ever been in RCIA.

For I didn’t answer “Read the Book of Revelation” until after you posed your question about RCIA.

So, again, why did you ask?

still going at it i see.

for the catholics who are reading this thread, two things: 1) the bahai who are posting here are not that interested in learning about the Roman Catholic faith; 2) this can be evidenced by the fact that they feel justified in telling the people who wrote the new testament that what they meant when the penned the words is wrong.

you see the bahai use the RC new testament while simultaneously denying what the RCC meant when it penned the new testament.

then, to boot, they think it is perfectly logical and reasonable to tell the person who wrote something that it means something different than the author meant.

come on now, does that sound like a logical or reasonable position?

so, spend your time trying to get them to answer questions directly. spend your time trying to educate them about the RC faith. but realize, the very premise of their interaction with christianity is a fatally flawed premise, that people who author texts have no idea what they mean when they write the texts.

that is a foundational belief of the bahai.

if you think you can reason with people who believe such a premise, well …

Sadly, this is quite evident.
