If possible, I agree. Being a good housewife/housemother is an art. It’s an art/skill that is dying because it is not being passed on to the little girls. They are not being prepared to know how to shop, (like extreme couponing I guarantee was the invention of a house wife.), gardening for fresh organic veggies (now we are dependent on big corps who don’t care about our children’s health), cleaning, making your own laundry detergents, getting those whites whiter (totally an art I haven’t figured out), cooking (my word, don’t get me started, my Mom was tired by the time I came around and forgot to teach me this one), time management, home health remedies (save yourself $150 on a Doc’s visit).
Being a good housewife takes a lot of skill and a lot of virtue. :yawn: I’m tired, just thinking about it all.
Plus, when the wife does all the house stuff, it means the husband has to work longer hours and make more money and stay out of her hair.
