Yes but he claims Eve fault was because of Adam’s. It would be like me blaming you for something I did wrong. There is a HUGE difference there. I read all his posts and he never said anything about Eve’s culpability being her own and on par with Adam’s!
I beleive maybe he was trying to tell you or share with us something that was not quite the way you took it and all I have to say to that is “He who has ears let Him hear.”😉

Or maybe he doesn’t understand the truth and is spreading a half-truth based on some misunderstanding / bias…that’s been known to happen you know 😉

I believe maybe we should learn to stop thinking ill of our brother all the time.:o

Not thinking ill of him at all!! I’m sure he is a great guy that would accept harsh criminal punishment for something his wife did on the grounds he just wasn’t being man enough to protect her from doing it…it is his ideas however that irk me 😛

Haha, no seriously, I get a bad rap all the time for suggesting that women should be housewivs and men should be the workers.
If possible, I agree. Being a good housewife/housemother is an art. It’s an art/skill that is dying because it is not being passed on to the little girls. They are not being prepared to know how to shop, (like extreme couponing I guarantee was the invention of a house wife.), gardening for fresh organic veggies (now we are dependent on big corps who don’t care about our children’s health), cleaning, making your own laundry detergents, getting those whites whiter (totally an art I haven’t figured out), cooking (my word, don’t get me started, my Mom was tired by the time I came around and forgot to teach me this one), time management, home health remedies (save yourself $150 on a Doc’s visit).

Being a good housewife takes a lot of skill and a lot of virtue. I’m tired, just thinking about it all.

Plus, when the wife does all the house stuff, it means the husband has to work longer hours and make more money and stay out of her hair. 😛

The Church does not say a woman has to stay at home and cannot work outside the home, have a career or anything like that. It is possible even for a woman to go out and work and provide for her family while the husband is a stay at home dad. It is for the couple to decide. There are many possible permutations.
Honestly, In my experience and witnessing other relationships, this role exchange rarely ever works. Most of the time women get resentful that the hubby is with the kids all the time and resents supporting the man because it is in her nature to want to be taken care of and the hubby gets resentful that he is dependent on his wife (kind of emasculating) and lives in a “receptive” nature when his nature is to give and take care of. He doesn’t feel needed by his wife which opens the doors for an affair with a woman who “needs” him.

I don’t suggest anyone trying this unless it is a life or death situation.

Exactly! Just a mere man so my love is that much less! I cannot do for her what Christ can. What is your point?
Read your own words -" if she rejects my love like we do to Christ …" Sounds like you are likening yourself to Christ.

If you read my words in whole you would see that I said I am a mere mortal whose heart is not infinitely giving like Christ’s is therefore I cannot sustain a relationship that is a 1-way street. I need help. That is why God created woman in the first place!

Stereotyping. I don’t think all women want to be taken care of. The hero on a white charger coming to rescue/take care of the damsel is a fairy tale. Women who think marriage is about someone taking care of them and living happily ever after believe in fairy tales. If husband and wife want the wife to stay at home for the kids, its their business. If the husband earns less and they agree that he stays at home with the kids, its their business too. Only insecure men would feel emasculated by this.

You are joking about an affair?

And that is why we have a materialistic society. Everything is about more more more money! That is also how couples grow apart. Though I agree with what you said about being a housewife being an art. It really is and it is really under-appreciated by society at large.

There is some truth to her claims. Read this article:

I was just making a joke sweetie. Didn’t you see my 😛

OK, who knows the answer to the question following this one?

The Rockefellers heavily financed the women’s lib movement, because it would achieve what two major benefits to the Rockefeller family?

Noone is weaker than the other.

To my understanding women and men are different and together they form the complete human.

A woman, more often than a man completely submits her Self to own feelings.

Well, I know the government profits from the women’s lib because now there are two people being taxed.

You could even say that Adam was the first to sin through cowardliness. For all we know, Satan approaches Eve with his suggestions and Adam stands back and thinks, “I’ll let her go first and see what happens.”
Nooooo… I don’t believe it… men could never think like that 😉 😛
