Have you expressed this concern to the parish council?
Perhaps they may be receptive to any ideas you may have to resolve this situation.
Give thought also to the fact that you may not be the only single in the parish thinking the way you are.

They should set up a singles sub-forum or group on this website. A few of us have met our spouse here. I met my wife through CAF in 2013. Just by chance. I was browsing the forums and came across one that I decided to respond to with a private message. We got talking and now we’re married.

To the OP, good luck. Don’t fall for the Catholic Match scam. Or maybe it’s different for women.

Contrary to what a lot of men (young?) are saying on here, don’t settle. There is almost nothing I can imagine more disheartening and soul-crushing than the idea of my wife (lol as if) ‘settling’ for me.
