Who will you be supporting in the U.S. presidential election with our Catholic values in mind?

I used think a lot of things that were sinful were okay. Then I started to care about what God wanted. It could be the president thing, and it could be that he saw the error of his ways.

which is certainly a corruption of what they should be motivated by, so I was truthfully reporting
No, corruption requires they are acting with dishonest and illicit intent, which I never said. I merely said it’s hard to be fairly assess the policy due to funds received, it’s merely a conflict. Far different than alleging a corrupt intent . Your post has now misrepresented twice

It’s the same thing. If they give in to that conflict of interest, as you allege, they are corrupt, even if they do not realize it. Dishonesty is not required.

But as long as we are talking about funding providing a conflict of interest, perhaps we should doubt the voting guide from Priests for Life if the donors to Priests for Life are mostly Republicans. There are aspects of that guide that clearly favor Republicans.

Joe Biden doesn’t “support” abortion. Here are his own words: In his 2007 book, “Promises to Keep,” Biden said: “My position is that I am personally opposed to abortion, but I don’t think I have a right to impose my few on the rest of society. I’ve thought a lot about it, and my position probably doesn’t please anyone.

“I’ve stuck to my middle-of-the-road position on abortion for more than 30 years. I still vote against partial birth abortion and federal funding, and I’d like to make it easier for scared young mothers to choose not to have an abortion, but I will also vote against a constitutional amendment that strips a woman of her right to make her own choice,” he wrote.

The party platform is clearly marked on all ballots if you are a savvy voter, just look for the D or R after the candidates name.

Trump. Not even because I like him specifically (though I do), but because 1. No Republican will be able to successfully primary him so he will 100% be one of the choices, and 2. No matter who the other choice is, and no matter what their other policies are, they will be an advocate of legal baby murder. Really there isn’t much of a choice.

I actually liked Pete buttigege at first. Then he started trying to use the Bible to support abortion and gay marriage. Believe it or not that lost me.

If you believe abortion is the murder of another human being, there is no reason not to outlaw it. Are you in favor of no laws at all in the name of freewill?

I will vote, but not for either major party. Neither represents, all of Christ teachings. Neither party is worth my vote.

Joe Walsh did some excellent work with the Eagles, and I like his support of amatuer radio. but I"m not sure he’s the person for the executive office…

That is supporting abortion. I understand saying that about pornography, strip clubs, and even same sex marriages. They are sins that plague the country, but they are all just adults hurting themselves. We don’t want to impose our beliefs so that nobody imposes their beliefs on us. However, in the case of abortion innocents are being oppressed. They are being slaughtered with no way to defend themselves. Holding the stance, “I don’t like it, but I’ll fight to allow it” really isn’t acceptable.

Yes. I"m a big fan. Thinking of seeing if I can start a chapter in my town.
