Most Catholics are voting.

As for myself, I will be voting for Joe Biden.

And yet, you post cartoons and caricature’s incessantly mocking only one candidate. Sorry if I doubt you here.

in a lawsuit over sexual abuse allegations(I know President Trump was accused as well, but since then all “charges” have been dropped. Clearly a political action to try and defame the President.).
In Bidens defence the same could be said of him (i.e., that the allegations are to reduce his chances of being elected).

However, being pro abortion rules him out when there is a candidate with a better stance. Trump is far from perfect, and his reasons may be to do with being elected, but I do think his record on pro life has been good.

FWIW
as I see things viewing TRUMPs (or for that matter anyone else’s) actions over the years from a boy scout motto/law perspective is a simple AND very useful exercise to judge character and leadership ability

…so when mr political tofu (i.e. mr NOT self-proclaimed stable genius), has something really ironically funny I’ll post a graphic

PS WRT mocking BIDEN,… just recalled one idiotic thing he said BUT sad thing is TRUMP started a campaign website mocking BIDEN,… so even when BIDEN shows himself to be an idiot, can’t help but find even more TRUMP idioticracy

My top 5 reasons to vote for Trump:
My top 5 reasons to vote for Biden:

Joe Biden is a Catholic role model that would never send mixed signals about what his Church teaches, and will always represent her as a Catholic should.

If he wins, as an added bonus, he’ll be one of the few pastors’ elected President.

Is that the guy from Property Brothers?

Also: are Catholics allowed to become pastors and officiate weddings of any kind? Seems to me that being “ordained” as a minister in a different church would mean you are not in communion with the Catholic Church…

populist” means something different in Europe
In Europe Populist is the word you use when you want to call someone a fascist but you realise that people are so bored with that insult that it no longer sounds credible.

Given the two (subpar) candidates available, I can’t vote for Biden in good conscience because he does not support the most basic right of human beings: the right to be.

Trump, for all his garishness, at least works in the direction of the least bloodshed.

It’s sad that it comes to this. I have a choice between a misogynist egomaniac with no self control, and someone who supports the deaths of millions of defenseless human beings.

That is a sad commentary on the state of our world.

My tongue was planted firmly in my cheek, like Mr. Biden’s nose planted in a stranger’s hair. Sorry if I came across as serious.

This isn’t about “the Wizard’s real IQ” but may be about the IQ of those who believe that he actually said it as reported.
I beg to differ. In this case it is the other way around. It was during a televised “covid19” daily conference for all the world to see.
I have pasted a free IQ resource for you and the five people who liked your post for your convenience.

The ironic thing here is that I may still have to vote for this questionably intelligent soul due to my Catholic beliefs, but at least my eyes are open as to what I am going to get in this putrid election.

While all I have said I believe to be true, I doubt my remarks will please many on either side of the isle. But frankly Scarlet…

I tend to believe in a stronger welfare state, but still believe in a (regulated) market economy and subsidiarity. My social values have very much aligned over the last five years with Catholic values. So when it comes to voting no party represents my interests.

Biden represents, from an economic perspective, the left wing of the Republican party and his policy is all very milquetoast.

Trump I despise very much on a personal level, and he’s truly not fit for the job and in many cases acts contrary to Catholic values. On the other hand he’s had no major policy initiatives passed. And recent crises have really shown him unfit, with great impact to the country.

If I don’t vote third party I guess I’ll vote for Trump, if only because of SCOTUS and federal court picks. Granted, there’s a lot of things I don’t agree with SCOTUS saying “corporations are people,” but in terms of actual protections for the unborn and other Catholic social values… this is really the only opportunity to create a swing.

I am really not happy with any of my options.

That’s why I choose the option not mentioned. Don’t vote at all and you won’t be a party to evil. That’s how I sleep well at night!
I’d like that. The Church in the USA teaches that we still have a moral responsibility to vote even when there are no truly good options.

I wouldn’t vote for Biden as a Catholic. Though he identifies as a Catholic, he supports policies that are anti-Catholic. While many people have a problem with Trump’s personality/rhetoric, we need to get past the man and look at policy and be concerned about the common good.
