Surely when it comes to insulting people and schoolyard taunts, our prez is in a league of his own.

I have never seen a true comparison. In other countries, a lot of things get paid for BEFORE the point of service, like free medical school, special courts for medical malpractice suits, government paid malpractice insurance. Ours is all AFTER.The U.S. spends more on health care as a share of the economy — nearly twice as much as the average OECD country — yet has the lowest life expectancy and highest suicide rates among the 11 nations.
It is true of some things. The U.S. is best in others. The U.S. has the highest chronic disease burden and an obesity rate that is two times higher than the OECD average.
Might be due to the low supply of physicians. Most things people visit doctors for could be taken care of by NPs, and that’s often true even in physicians’ offices. But you get billed for a lot more than what the NP gets for the service.Americans had fewer physician visits than peers in most countries, which may be related to a low supply of physicians in the U.S.
True. And our complex services are faster. You could wait months in Canada for a rotator cuff tear repair. Here, you could visit your GP about it on Monday and have the surgery by Friday.Americans use some expensive technologies, such as MRIs, and specialized procedures, such as hip replacements, more often than our peers.
I don’t much doubt it. We also have far and away the highest immigration rate from third world countries where medical conditions go ignored or ill-treated…Compared to peer nations, the U.S. has among the highest number of hospitalizations from preventable causes and the highest rate of avoidable deaths.
He’s strictly bush league when compared with LBJ, for example.Surely when it comes to insulting people and using schoolyard bullying tactics, our prez is in a league of his own.
Are you going to die from that rotator tear. Nope. It might hurt, but waiting a few weeks ain’t going to kill you. Oh, and no you can’t in some places because elective surgeries have been suspended due to our poor response to Covid.True. And our complex services are faster. You could wait months in Canada for a rotator cuff tear repair. Here, you could visit your GP about it on Monday and have the surgery by Friday.
Absolutely. Which is why none of my family bother with them.I don’t think the American public needs Daddy to model good behavior so the children will follow. American adults can make their own decisions based on their personal risk assessment.
Don’t worry. They aren’t going to win.I’ll bow out now.
I really don’t want the Democrats to win in November, so I think I’ll just keep my mouth shut .
LOL never say never.Don’t worry. They aren’t going to win
You have to fix most rotator cuffs pretty quickly or the surgical results are not very good. Sometimes, if there is enough retraction, the muscle turns to fatty tissue and won’t hold sutures. Going months is really bad and probably results in a lot of non-repairs.It might hurt, but waiting a few weeks ain’t going to kill you.
Yeah, and she got her lunch handed to her. Don’t worry.Once upon a time, every poll and pundit and expert swore on a zillion bibles we’d have HRC as president
