:o My post above #300 - **correction **- I was typing so fast because my dogs were trying to get my attention to take them out for their afternoon walk.
Quote from planten:
It appers to me that the Catholics did not like my attack.
Quote from me/Jakasaki:
Attack, seriously, get over yourself. There in no way you can ever attack us and we cannot defend ourselves with the truth.
This is what I meant to type out…

Attack, seriously, get over yourself! There is no way you can ever attack us **in which **we cannot defend ourselves with the truth.

It is useless to present just one post to malign me. The Catholics were abusing the prophet Muhammad and posting the most dirty words against him and telling that he married a six year old girl. That was not necessary at all.

I tried to stop them from those things. They did not stop. So I mentioned the Da Vinci Code in which it is proved that Jesus was married to Mary Magd and they had a son too.

Of course, we Muslims do not believe that Jesus was married and had a son. But the book Da Vinci Code was quite a good help to rebutt the onsloght of the Catholics. They were presenting the “satanic verses” against Islam too.

My mission was not to abuse Jesus. Marriage is not any bad thing. But it was necessary to check the abuse of the pseudo-Catholics who were busy on the net. For that purpose I utilised the Da Vinci Code, film and the book.

It appers to me that the Catholics did not like my attack. It seems to hurt them even now. But they forget their own role in abusing Muhammad. A few were abusing and the rest were quietly enjoying that abuse.
Planten, if you are really a muslim, than you really amaze me.

1st you should know that for us Christians, Mohammed means nothing. So if we say something you dont like than that is all in your books and there are some muslims, who are trying to portray it a better light with their own interpretations and many a times its just useless.

2nd. Muslims consider Jesus as a Prophet and use the word PBUH, meaning for you He is someone really Holy, and you saying the above things ie about Jesus and Mary Magdelena, even as a sick joke to see what the Christians reaction is, is really shocking to me, cause it makes me feel that for you besides Mohammed, rest all prophets are just to please the Jews and Christians to show them as people of the book which muslims keep on saying,

Lastly, we Christians are not angry on what you say, as we know our God and we know what Jesus did for us mankind and we accept Him as our Lord and God. And its He who is the authority to Judge you and others and not us.

God Bless

Sedonaman, Allah did not decieve any one. He saved his beloved person i.e. Jesus from the cursed death on the cross. Allah did not replace Jesus with some other person. That is no where in the Quran or hadith.

It was Jesus himself on the cross. Allah did not decieve any of the disciples. Jesus himself travelled 70 miles to galilee and met his disciples. Quran does not deny that. There is no case of deceiving by Allah.

Allah plans and His plans are divine plans which are superior to any one elses plans. Think of the birth of Jesus. That was a divine plan too.

Allah planned to save Jesus from death on the cross. So He did it. There is no question of decieving any one.
Planten

You should know that Crucifixion was the last part before death of Jesus ( which Muslims dont accept). But prior to that there was whipping, and you must have read of how the romans used to whip the prisoners, and Jesus suffered more than them, than there was crowning of Jesus with thorns, blood pouring from his forehead, and than carrying the huge cross, Quran is quite on all this, ie the complete passion of Jesus, but talks only of the last stage.

Why did God allow all this and than save Jesus at the last moment, and that too making an impostor die in place of Jesus fooling all those present there?

Mohammed seems to be great story teller to make the whole muslim world believe this lie and you know who the king of lies is? GUESS WHO!

Why Islam denies the crucifixion of Christ

They deny Jesus crucifixion because mohamad got it all wrong

They deny Jesus crucifixion because mohamad wanted power

They deny Jesus crucifixion because mohamad wanted his version of a religion

They deny Jesus crucifixion because mohamad hated the Jews & Christians

They deny Jesus crucifixion because the “prince of all LIES” fooled mohamad

They deny Jesus crucifixion because of who hates the Cross ~ “prince of all LIES”

This is why in one of their hadiths mohamad had said that Jesus will return to earth to:

~ break all of the crosses, kill the swine, and make islam the religion of earth and all mankind ~

Who really wants to break the cross ~ think about it ~ the “price of ALL LIES” and his name is sat… and also known as luc…

I refuse to mention or spell out his name - I refuse!!!

Come Lord Jesus, come!

We beg you to gather us under your wings and preserve us for your glory forever and ever!

We love, Risen Son of God and Immortal King!

Amen.

"Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the Lord God, ‘who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.’" Revelation 1:7-8

La la la…there’s no way he can feign, “Oh I didn’t see that!” now 😃
Planten, you have not addressed my counterpoints. You replied to someone else and simply repeated everything that I responded to.

You are once again attempting to run away from continuing honest debate. If you are sincere in your conversations with Christians, then please get back on track. If not, then I begin to wonder why you even enter into debate with Christians here.

Hey there BW ~ I am making some 🍿 <— would you like some while you are waiting?

SedonaMan has been waiting longer then you my dear… 😃

May I ask… what is your ticket number?

The Da Vinci code…I just woke up a little…that is up near the list, isn’t it…near blasphemy???

How can we look at something like that???

Well, it is that time again…z…z…z…z…z…z…It is a long road to Tipperary…

I never thought watching someone avoid backing up bad arguments could be so entertaining.

Well to be honest there are a lot of Christians going after him so I can see where that feeling would be legitimate, although that’s not much of a defense since they’re all asking him to back up things he said long ago, and not presenting new arguments.

I pray that all in this thread may find the fullness of truth, whatever it may be. 🙂

Exactly. If he was just talking to one person and ten people jumped on him I might sympathize, but when you give a strange argument to one person, ignore their response, give a strange argument to another person, ignore their response, etc etc etc…well, you’re going to have a lot of upset forum goers coming after you.

There was no need to dig out my very old posts which were written under the bad circumstances. The Catholics here have not mentioned why I wrote all that. There were some abusive posters, perhaps non-Catholics. The Catholics were quiet.

So I mentioned the Da vinci Code. If there was anything wrong, they should blame Leonardo or Dan Brown. Not me. I did not write da Vinci Code.

There had been a member here Ben Masada who virtually proved that Mary Magd was the wife of Jesus. I tell you that you have problems at hand. So it is better to see the log in your eyes before trying to see a straw in the eyes of Muhammad. That was the advice of Jesus to you all. You better follow that advice.

I have said that I believe in Jesus as the prophet (Messenger) of God. He himself said that Someone had sent him. I believe that. I can never abuse Jesus. And to say that he was not God is not abuse at all. Also to say that he did not die an undesirable death on the Cross is also no abuse. All Muslims believe that Jesus is not God. All Muslims believe that Jesus did not die on the Cross. It is not me only.

I also did not believe that Jesus got married to Mary Magd. Jesus is your God. you do not want your God to be married. That is upto you. Please yourself. I am with you. But do not abuse others from some doubtful writings. Because then you will have to face other writings i.e. excellent investigation of the very learned man Leonardo. He was genious and a christian too. That is all your problem. Go fight with him or fight with Dan Brown.

We Muslim respect Jesus. We believe in him as the man of God. You do nothing of the sort. You do not believe that Muhammad was a man of god. You do not believe that he was a good man. So compare your condition.

Also we believe that bible is a revealed book. That only some parts of it have been modified (or corrupted). Not all the bible is corrupted. But you do not believe that Quran is a revealed book. So please see where you stand. And still you blame the Muslims.

I have nothing against Jesus or Moses or Abraham or King David or King Soloman. But I may have something against the bad posters here. So keep up your good work. I believe in the Torah and the bible as the revealed books and I love Moses and Jesus…

I’ve followed this thread on and off for a bit. I was unable to post for a short bit due to an unfortunate misunderstanding, just because I post now does not mean I am unaware of what has already come to past. The very fact that you choose to respond to me and not one of the others perhaps shows that you believe you have some hope in convincing me. Maybe you do, but my questions to you are like the ones which have gone before. Irregardless of “circumstances” you either need to back up your arguments, or admit you were in error when you said things. If you admit you are in error you must go back to the point which brought you to error and give an argument from there. No one on here can make you write something, short of someone with moderator access maliciously editing your post (given that the mods are all Catholic and there are a number of very anti-Catholic posts that go unedited, I shall conclude they are above this sort of abuse).
So I mentioned the Da vinci Code. If there was anything wrong, they should blame Leonardo or Dan Brown. Not me. I did not write da Vinci Code.
The DaVinci code is a work of fiction, and has never been held to be anything more. There have been conspiracy theories from time to time which have asserted the idea that Jesus was married, however none of these are what you brought up. Additionally Leonardo DaVinci has nothing to do with these fables. By attaching his name to it you show your own ignorence on the subject, and reveal your attack to be nothing but a hasty strawman

I’m familiar with this member, and I don’t think much of his posts, to be quite honest, he has a habit of taking things out of context, even as you do. The verse you reference tells us not to judge the imperfections of others, something which is reserved for god alone. It is not a commandment to cease discernment. If Mohammad claims to be a prophet I must look at him to discern whether he is or not. If he is not he and his teachings must be thrown by the wayside. The fact that he blatently contradicted his own teachings at times because God told him it was ok leads me to discern that he is not a prophet. What his fate is, that I can not judge.
I have said that I believe in Jesus as the prophet (Messenger) of God. He himself said that Someone had sent him. I believe that. I can never abuse Jesus. You have already “abused” him several times in this very post! Particularly in what I shall go into more fully on the next bit:
I also did not believe that Jesus got married to Mary Magd. Jesus is your God. you do not want your God to be married. That is upto you. Please yourself. I am with you. But do not abuse others from some doubtful writings. Because then you will have to face other writings i.e. excellent investigation of the very learned man Leonardo. But you just said one of this forums own esteemed members “virtually proved it”, why would you even bring that up if you yourself are unconvinced? That is an abuse! You argue your polemics by trying to put doubt into your opponent, even when they are in agreement with you! It would be like me trying to prove Catholics wrong by arguing against the Real Presence! If my priest found out I made such an argument I have no doubt he would withold the eucharist from me until I confessed, repented, and served a penance. I wonder how the leaders of your mosque would react to seeing you argue what they clearly believe to be heretical?
We Muslim respect Jesus. We believe in him as the man of God. You do nothing of the sort. You do not believe that Muhammad was a man of god. You do not believe that he was a good man. So compare your condition.
You respect Christ as a Hindu respects God. Your respect is a denegration in our eyes, as the Hindu respect of God (and I mean the One God) is a denegration in yours.
Also we believe that bible is a revealed book. That only some parts of it have been modified (or corrupted). Not all the bible is corrupted. But you do not believe that Quran is a revealed book. So please see where you stand. And still you blame the Muslims.
Of course I don’t believe the Quran is a revealed book, it flat out contradicts both the Bible and Holy Tradition, which is also why I believe Muhammad is a false prophet.
I have nothing against Jesus or Moses or Abraham or King David or King Soloman. But I may have something against the bad posters here. So keep up your good work. I believe in the Torah and the bible as the revealed books and I love Moses and Jesus…
If I thought believing that the Torah and the Bible were revealed books was good enough I would have remained a protestant. The Bible is only, and has only ever been, a part of what we believe. No book by its nature can contain the entirety of a religion.

Now I ask you, instead of responding to anything I’ve said, respond to those who have asked you the more pressing and central questions.

There was no need to dig out my very old posts which were written under the bad circumstances.
By bad circumstances, do you mean “willfully going into a thread, entering into debate with various people, then disrespectfully ignoring their arguments”?
The Catholics here have not mentioned why I wrote all that. There were some abusive posters, perhaps non-Catholics. The Catholics were quiet.
You can call them, Jharek. 😃

And now Planten, I’m reposting what I’ve posted before. I’ll keep doing this. You can keep ignoring it, but that will only show everyone here that you’re blatantly ignoring arguments people have brought forth.
Planten, you have not addressed my counterpoints. You replied to someone else and simply repeated everything that I responded to.

planten said: “All Muslims believe that Jesus is not God. All Muslims believe that Jesus did not die on the Cross. It is not me only.”

Here are two problems: Jesus was God just exactly as Muhammad was.
Jews and Muslims forget the divinity of their prophets, and Christians are blind to anything else.

He that obeys the Apostle obeys Allah Himself. (Qur’án 4:80)

Whoso acknowledged Him (Muhammad), recognized the signs of God in His inmost Being, and saw in His beauty the changeless beauty of God, the decree of “resurrection”, “ingathering”, “life”, and “paradise” was passed upon him. ~Bahá’u’lláh, Gems of Divine Mysteries, p. 41

“All Muslims believe that Jesus did not die on the Cross. It is not me only.”
If this is true, then all “Muslims” have left Islam. Such verses as the one in the Qur’an which says they did not kill Jesus are put there to test us. Many failed this test.

If you’re thinking Jesus came down out of the sky, you’re wrong; but He came from heaven. If you’re thinking that the body of Jesus went up, I disagree. That dust is still here.
He came down from heaven spiritually, but his body was born of Mary obviously.
We are talking about the Spirit of Truth that is pre-existent, Jesus was Ruh’u’lláh (The Spirit of God).
In John 8:58 He says ‘Before Abraham, I am’. This is part of the Gospel and the Qur’an accepts the Gospel. (I don’t know about some ‘Muslims’)
If you’re thinking He was not killed that day, you’re right: the heavenly Reality cannot be killed. That is what will return. But bodies are composed and compositions suffer de-composition. When He comes again, it will not be out of the sky! He will not ‘land’ somewhere near Damscus! He will walk the Holy Land just like He did before.
I testify to the truth of these statements before God.

What?!? Would you explain this part of your post please?

I never thought watching someone avoid backing up bad arguments could be so entertaining.
You think this is entertaining? Consider there was a fellow poster, “samaan” by username, who was very knowledgeable and provided some excellent contributions to this forum, but planten succeeded in driving him away. Here is a sample of what transpired before [and if you’ve followed planten for a while, ask yourself if it sounds familiar]:

You forgot the main one all Muslims resort to: the tu quoque argument.
