Why so many gay couples in tv shows?

It should teach me to be more diligent too. I was a bit shocked (and very sad) at the end of the show.

No. The one on the left is gay and marries another guy. The one on the right (Keith) is discussed but it’s hinted that he might one day get with one of the alien women from his mom’s race.
So it would be okay for kids to see a human marrying an alien but not another human of the same sex?

I should probably mention that the guy who is hinted at getting into a relationship with another alien is actually half-alien himself. And that they don’t form a romantic relationship or get married

Do books count?
If there’s good Christian books, I’ll read them, but I’m pretty sure there are some good Christian books and music. TV shows, movies, and video games don’t really have many, if any, great Christian works.

Cause one tv show I watch (avatar the last air bender) has a character who liked men and women.
You’re thinking of the sequel show, Legend of Korra.
They sort of sprung it on the viewers in the last episode.

Do books that have been made into movies count? Also, veggie tales. Prince of Egypt is really good, but that wasn’t made by Christians. It was made by dreamworks. Ironically, the same studio that made Voltron. It was made in i want to say early 2000’s so it’s probably not the same people as Voltron

You know I thought of that, but barely watch that anymore. In avatar la there is one bisexual(?) character. The relationship is never shown in the show and is never even hinted that she has same sex attraction. I found it out while i was trying to find out the characters height. It was on wiki. The character is Kyoshi. I didn’t even think she had any romantic relationships.

I never heard that, but I believe you.
For me, if it’s not “canon” (in the actual work, not so,e fan site), then I don’t worry about it.
Some creators like to appear edgy and cool.

Lots of movies seem to drop homosexual relationships into them when they aren’t actually relevant to the story, even a straight relationship wouldn’t be relevant. The new Star Trek remakes, Sulu is gay and is shown with his boyfriend/husband and son. The new Harry Potter spin-off (which is fantastic) mentions that Dumbledore is gay. But they seem to mention that he isn’t a practicing homosexual

I haven’t seen the new Fantastic beasts and the crimes of grindlewald. My mom and sister said it was horrible… the first one (I watched the first one) was good. I’ve decided to pretty much stick to the original Harry Potter

Yeah, I’m still watching avatar. They have a comic series so they might have it in that? But the series is about Aang so I don’t think we’d see that much of Kyoshi. Idk🤷🏻‍♀️

the reason is, we create a level of emotional attachment to these characters and it hurts when that attachment is broken to some degree.
This is deliberate.
There is an intent to get the audience emotionally involved with the characters.
Then when the characters do immoral acts, the audience tries to empathize and justify. Ultimately lowering moral standards.

I thought it was good but the title made no sense because there was no showing of “the crimes” lol. It was more of a setup movie for the rest of the series

Yes it is, Matt! I use some olive wood prayer beads I found on Amazon for about ten bucks. Though beads certainly aren’t required.
I’ve read that the Eastern monastics pray it hundreds of times per day. I’m not quite there yet! But I woke up one morning a while back from a dream in which I was walking along a sunlit corridor, repeating the Jesus Prayer over and over, in Latin. I wish I would have that dream every night!
