Divided government is back in thank God, and not a moment too soon.

People haven’t changed. When Noah was building the ark, the people laughed at him and as a result died. In our time, Mr. Bush was sent to “build an ark” so to speak, and again the people laughed. God set before us the choice between life and death and abjured us to choose life, but we have chosen death. God has given us free will, and has no choice but to honor our choice. I liked the United States. It was a pretty good system to live under, but it sure doesn’t appear that it is destined to live much longer. It may take a while longer before it breathes its last, so I’m not concerned so much for myself as I my years on this earth are dwindling, but I am concerned for my children and grandchildren.

All I can say is “offer it up”. I think today I’m going to have to turn off the talk radio and start listening to the all Christmas music station - otherwise I may have to jump from my first floor window at work. Uggh - I have to get up now and go to work so I can pay more taxes!

Don’t worry…pretty soon you won’t have Christmas music…you won’t even be able to mention Christmas. You will only be able to celebrate Ramadon or Quaanza.

Looks like Prop. 85 for California (the ballot for parent notification on abortion) is losing by an 8% margin as of 8:00 am eastern time. Amendment 2 for Missouri is losing by a 2% margin. The votes on these are closer than I thought!

As for Nancy Pelosi - somebody please shut her up!

Catholics need to pray and properly catechize themselves.
If you know someone who is faithful but still does not understand the gravity of their error, point them to priests for life . org and the catechism. Pray to the Holy Spirit and ask Mary to obtain grace to those in darkness on human dignity.

I need to pray more and more sincerely.

If you are a practicing Catholic please do not be complicit in failing to support the protection of the unborn; in being complicit in abortion and the lip service support of abortion. The right to choose murder is an intrinsic and grave evil.

In recent years more than ever man is being turned into a tool for his fellow man through abortion, through lust, through “embyonic” research. Time to be a lamp on a hill.

and the less than half-hearted efforts at pro-life legislation by the GOP negated any supremacy of the right-to-life issue that would move one to vote for them. IMO, of course.

Half hearted? You do realize President Bush nominated and had confirmed two pro life Supreme Court Justices don’t you? As long as Democrats have control that won’t happen any more and you will now get all pro death justices now. If you want pro life…vote Republican.

Rick Santorum is out. So sad and scary. How many people voted for Casey thinking he was pro life like his father? God bless the Santorum’s!

I talked to a person very involved in PA politics Monday, and he thought Casey was pro life! When my sister voted(in PA) there were voters makeing loud remarks about how Santorum would make birth control illegal!!! Propaganda really hurt him here I think. I also think I’ll go back to bed and hide under the covers for the next few years.

I really fear for this country and the pro life movement. With the Senate in the hands of the Democrats Bush will not be able to nominate any pro life Supreme Court justices. The election in 08 scares me.

I believe after the Democrats screw up this country badly in the next 2 years the Republicans will win but more than likely it will be a pro death Republican like Guiliani, McCain, Mitt Romney or someone of that ilk. On the other side you got the walking spokesperson for the Culture of Death, Hillary Clinton. If Hillary wins this country is doomed.

If the Presidential election was yesterday Hillary would have won by a landslide. But after the Democrats raise taxes and screw this country up like I am sure they will people will vote out the Dems as quick as they voted them in. But the problem is, all the front runners for the Republican Presidential nominee are all pro death. So having President Bush in office was the best chance the pro life movement had at getting pro life justices. We got 2 but we won’t get any more.

When they run people like Judy Baar Topinka, a very pro abortion candidate, for governor of Illinois what do they expect?

Huh??? The Republicans lowered taxes, made the country safer (no attacks in this country since 9/11,) just got the boarders secured to the objection of the Democrats, and we got 2 justices in the Supreme Court that will most likely vote to overturn Roe V Wade. As for Iraq…what’s the Democrats plan? Cut and run? More troops? The draft? I haven’t heard anything coherent from the Dems on this. So your argument doesn’t hold water. It’s just more proof the American public is STOOOPID.

Because of the liberals agenda of stopping wire tapping of terrorists, ending interrogation tactics that work on terrorists, and dismantling the intelligence community, not to mention allowing illegal aliens uncontrolled access to our boarders will allow terrorists to make a major attack on the US and it will most likely be a nuclear attack.

The morons in this country that voted for Democrats voted out a Congress and President who has the best economy we have had in many years…even better than when Slick Willy was in office. A President and congress who has kept this country safe since 9/11. A president and Congress who was working to end the Culture of death in this country.

Now that the Democrats own both houses of congress Bush will never be able to confirm a pro life judge which means Roe V Wade will be with us for many generations more.
