How God could fail to convey his message?

This is a question that should come to mind of any religious person: How God could fail to convey his message? There are two scenarios available: 1) God didn’t intended to convey any message and all religions are work of people. This is true since there are many religions around the world. 2) God failed. This is true because there are many religions around the world again.

Your thought.
Or 3) one religion is the True religion, revealed to mankind, by God and all others are man made fabrications, sprinkled with various amounts of truth.

Kind of like 1+1=2 vs 1+1= any other number you want as long as it’s not 2

What is your proposal?
The proposal was in my first post. You have not considered it. I see pointless to continue the discussion since you have decided not to entertain other views other than your own.

The trail is for all to see.

. . . tell my other grandfather, before he died of cancer, God loves him and is willing to forgive him for being an alcoholic his whole life. I regret not delivering that message deeply, but I was more worried about looking insane at that time. . .
Your grandfather received the message in other ways.
I would imagine that the regret would not be solely for not helping him achieve some final peace, but that you passed on an opportunity to tell him that you forgive him in doing so, and also to affirm your faith.
However, it seems to me that in the end, mission accomplished.

I know and yes, that is exactly so. Thank You

Praying is a waste of time. We need to search the truth. Relationship is meaningful when God is present to perform a dialogue. Have you ever had a conversation with God? Have you ever had a conversation with God? Why not? I don’t understand. Could you please elaborate?
God is perfect relationality - Love.
In His image, we too are relational.
Our existence is rooted in our relationship with our Father.
He calls us to Him; the closer we are to Him, the closer we are to the truth.
As part of that relationship, we can contemplate the Ground of our being.
Very important, is prayer, through which we converse with Him, sharing our hopes and fears.
Today in the Mass, we come together as one community, one body in Christ to pray.
Most importantly, as He gave us life, we return His love by loving Him above all else and one another as ourselves.
These are the basics without which your philosophies are doomed to remain mere illusions.

Without prayer, man will never find or understand the Truth. Man is capable of being wrong and is wrong more then he likes to admit. The fact man is inherently wrong, because of lack of knowledge and understanding, is the reason there are so many religions. The Truth is only truely knowable and assured of, by revelation of God. Which is why God has been reveling Himself to mankind for thousands of years. First to the Jews, as the Father; then to the world, in the person of Jesus Christ and then to anyone willing to listen, in the form of the Holy Spirit.
Why we then created intellectual and curious?

I tried deleting my previous post and couldn’t.

Without prayer, man’s search for physical truth is difficult and he or she is often wrong. Spiritual Truth is impossible to know without a revelation from God and as such, requires prayer. It also require fasting or giving of alms or all three. Man is inherently capable of being wrong and is wrong more then he likes to admit. God however is not capable of being wrong. The fact man is inherently wrong, because of lack of knowledge and understanding, is the reason there are so many religions. Infinite numbers of people making up whatever they want to. The Spiritual Truth is only truely knowable and assured of, by revelation of God. Which is why God has been reveling Himself to mankind for thousands of years. First to the Jews, as the Father; then to the world, in the person of Jesus Christ and then to anyone willing to listen, in the form of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, I have had a continuous conversation with God now for over eight years. During those years He took me from nonbelieving ex-Baptist to believing theist to believing Protestant to Faithful Catholic. He has determined the last 3 places I have lived, brought me through a divorce, selected my divorce lawyer, selected the place I am currently employed, promised me a new wife and told me who that wife is. He woke me up for days on end, at 2:22 am, 3:33 am, 4:44 am or 5:55 am, as I debated Trinity vs Oneness with myself. Now every time I see 3 of the same number in a row, it makes me smile. He’s assured me my Baptist grandfather is in heaven. He’s sent me to help people. Three of which would have most likely died if I hadn’t intervened. He’s also instructed me to do many things I have refused to do. Like tell my other grandfather, before he died of cancer, God loves him and is willing to forgive him for being an alcoholic his whole life. I regret not delivering that message deeply, but I was more worried about looking insane at that time. I don’t worry about that so much anymore.
What is the truth?

Why we are created curious and intellectual? What is the truth and the way? To pray and receive the truth from God?

Illusion! That fits to your system of belief better since it reduces human being to a hopeless creature who cannot find the truth on his/her own. Could God be proud of such a creation? Sheesh.

If you keep an open heart and mind, you will find the truth on your own, and that ultimate Truth is God Himself. The truth is found within your relationship with Him, as you come to know any person with the particular relationship you have with them. We find our hope in God. When you find yourself lost, remember to call on Him. He is waiting. Of course God loves us all, in spite of how we have succumbed to Satan’s lies and turned from Him.

There is a third scenario:

God conveyed (and continues to convey) a message to ALL of His people, and He does so in a manner which respects the free will which He has given to them. His existence is sufficiently evident for those who wish to follow the clues to find Him yet sufficiently obscure so as to avoid coercing those who do not wish to follow them.

By use of our own intellects and curiosity, we can discover the truth of these clues and the way that they point to our creator.

Why we then created intellectual and curious?
Our curious nature is sprung from the fact we are born without knowledge and understanding. All-knowing creatures with perfect understanding cannot be curious, there is nothing left to be curious about. The intellect is what we use to understand the facts we find in our curious searching, but that doesn’t change the fact if you want the Perfect Truth, you need to get it from God. Especially if you want to know about how humans are to act. The creator knows, what the creation is for, not vice versa.

How could you be sure that yours is the true one?
Because I went to God in humility and prayer and allowed Him to reveal Himself to me. I didn’t take it upon myself to makeup my own religion. I excepted the one He reveals.

I started a non-believer with a want to believe that God exists. Overtime He’s revealed himself to me, guiding me, directed me, showed me all religions contain some amount of Truth, but some contain more then others. God has revealed himself to Israel as God the Father, to the world as God the Son and to every individual that wishes to know the Truth, as God the Holy Spirit.

The only thing that keeps you from knowing the Truth of God is your own pride. God reavels himself to humble men and women. People that understand that you need His help to know Him.

What is the truth?
What truth are you seeking? The Truth of God? If you want to know the Truth about a Spiritual being, maybe you should ask a Spiritual being. Nothing I say will really convince you. Convincing requires prayer and that beings revelation of Himself to you personally.

I told you the Truth God revealed to me. First, God exists. Second, God has revealed Himself through Isreal. Third, God has revealed Himself through the person of Jesus Christ and that He started a Church to continue to convey the Truth of His existence, in the Catholic Church.

This is exactly what I said. 👍 #34

How could you be sure that yours is the true one?
By comparing what is known and claimed about Catholicism to what is known and claimed about other religions.

This isn’t all that difficult, is it? 🤷

We are talking about the belief which has nothing to do with free will. It is matter of being conceived.
His existence is sufficiently evident for those who wish to follow the clues to find Him yet sufficiently obscure so as to avoid coercing those who do not wish to follow them.
How the existence of God could be sufficiently evident when we have to many religions and atheist also rules?
By use of our own intellects and curiosity, we can discover the truth of these clues and the way that they point to our creator.
What is the use of clue when each religion claims that it is the way and provide a instruction for each aspect of life?

We apparently cannot understand perfect truth since that is related to what God is! This makes us incomplete creatures who are always in threat of failing and falling. What is the purpose to create creatures who are always in state of ignorance?

How you could be sure that you are not mislead by Satan as others mislead by him? How different religions could contain some certain truth which implement that the rest of what is claimed are lies? What a religion contains must be 100% correct since that is word of God so we cannot have different religions which one has more truth than another! Moreover there shouldn’t be any conflict in contents of different religions which apparently exist if you study a few religions.
