How the Catholic 'alt-right' aims to purge LGBTQ members from the church

I don’t believe for one minute that those things happened.

The only person alleging that stuff is an open radical homosexual with a history of lying and persecuting Catholics in the diocese.
Odd that he hasn’t been charged with filing false police reports, isn’t it? Odd that others saw the spray-painted slur on the conference room wall. Odd that no one seems to have reported any of the harassment by him that you allege. Odd that the publishing of his home address was there on the internet for everyone but you to see.

Given the violence, threats, and doxing we have seen from the left in this country, I’d say you need a better descriptor for alt-right. The behaviors you mention anecdotally seem to happen far more from the left, though that could be a perception thing.

Regardless, to associate it anyway with being right of center is inaccurate, since leftists do it all the time.

That’s like saying that because you are Catholic, you are aligning yourself with pederasts. How does that remotely make sense?

Again, you can cherry pick the worst elements of any group and say "that defines you " but no one else has to apply or adhere to your definition.

The alt-right doesn’t define itself as being aligned with Catholic Church teaching. And there’s nothing in Church teaching that justifies white supremacy, Holocaust denial, or antisemitism.
Members of the Left advocate for a Jew-free Palestinian state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, and somehow it’s the “alt-right” that gets labeled as antisemitic…

I would think that all catholics would find racism and xenophobia deplorable.

Antisemitism isn’t limited to one group, sadly. But when someone shouts, “Jews will not replace us!” you can bet he’s antisemitic.

It isn’t Angel who’s defining the term. It’s members of the group itself.

And that is official? Are they a 503c?

You have people on here claiming to be members who define it much differently, so I’d say it is a meaningless term, no?

What to read ? They are all the same.

" I know my culture clashes with your culture but I’m going to throw it in your face anyway"

No different than if I was reading the employment classifieds looking for a job as a maintenance man. I see an opening at the local Islamic Center. So I show up to apply in person with a crucifix hanging around my neck and carrying the Bible. What should I expect ?

How about someone who advocates for a Palestine from the “river to the sea”?

It doesn’t seem to be meaningless to those who refer to themselves with that term.

So you didn’t read it but you can still comment on its content? 🤔

I’d say that’s antisemitic.

Nor to the people arguing over its meaning in this topic, like you and me.

From here on out I’ll pm you the text of anything I intend to post to see if it passes your little litmus test.

In the meantime why don’t you apply to be a moderator.

No, I wouldn’t say “most US universities” are hotbeds of antisemitism. But we should all be alarmed by the amount of antisemitism that’s currently present on many campuses.

Why would anyone think it appropriate to comment on an article that he or she hasn’t read?
