Not even close to true. There is a SDA theology of mandatory Saturday sabbath worship – and anyone who doesn’t abide by this SDA decree receives the SDA mark of the beast.

That is correct. In the SDA outreach program, the SDAs quickly came to realize that if their literature said “Seventh-day Adventist” anywhere on it, then people would quickly throw it away without reading it**;** so the SDAs began printing all of their literature [for prosytelization] without their name on it. That’s how they try to get unsuspecting people into their church. Believe it or not!!!Seventh Day Adventists are these people who send you this little book in the mail, carefully disguised. It doesn’t really mention that its by them.
Silly enough that Jesus himself used that expressionThe Catholic Church still offers indulgences, but hasn’t sold them for about 400 years…How long have the SDA been around 150 years tops?..Soul sleep is a rather silly notion. To sleep would indicate a passage of time and when we die time ceases to exist. Heaven and Hell exist outside of time so the idea of waiting for judgement doesn’t make sense.
Thats right, not even close…Not even close to true.
Yes, they are part of their SDA outreach program, similar to the JWs. Most of them refuse to declare that they are Seventh-day Adventists in their signature block at this forum because it will cause readers to be revolted. The SDA missionaries who are attempting to convert Catholics will also choose psychologically unique user-names, such as**:**TO ALL NON-SDA:
I find each and every one of these SDA are not interested in exchange but to get you to believe in their weird interpretation of scripture. They are very subtle and sneaky.
That’s why the SDA literature for newcomers doesn’t have their sect’s name on it.The SDA are more interested in converting the unwary to their way of thinking and belief.
However, they really believe the demonic lies that were spouted by Ellen Gould White, their SDA founder, to include the following beliefs**;*** Ellen White told some of her followers that they would experience “translation” and would not die a mortal death. Ellen’s prophecy failed and they are all dead now. These SDA are truly brainwashed like all members of any cult. You cannot reason with them. They are “correct” and they alone “have the truth”.
Anyone who would believe some of these SDA cult-lies from Ellen White is indeed spiritually brainwashed with doctrines of demons.I don’t think they know what the truth is.
Since SDAs believe the basic tenants of Christianity, such as the resurrection of Jesus and His promised return, that’s their “hook” to try and get new followers to join their cult. However, Adventist churches have a great deal of retaining new members (long term) because when they are eventually exposed to all these crazy heretical beliefs, they leave!!!I find I make greater headway with a Mormon or other cultic. Because an SDA believes in the basic tenets of Christianity ( the Holy Trinity, the death and reurrection, etc. ) does not mean that they are true Christians.
It’s not that easy because they are in your living room (this forum)!!! That is the singular reason why I have been so tenacious in this thread!!! :knight2:I will do what Jesus said to do, that is to shake their dust off my feet and go on my way. I suggest all others do the same.
Yes, that’s one example of blasphemy. However, you can’t take that one example and claim that it excludes using the Lord’s name in vain. You are aptly demonstrating an Adventist attempt to squash all other scriptures that don’t mesh with SDA’s cult tenancies, to include a mandatory SDA observance of the Jewish Saturday sabbath – or else get the SDA mark of the beast.Yes, of course.
The apostles told us not to use the Lord’s name in vain (blasphemy) because it’s part of the “moral” command**:*** Col. 3:8

.
You were going to write that nowhere in the New Testament did the apostles tell us not to use the Lord’s name in vain**;** and then you were going to say that similarly, since the apostles also didn’t tell us in the New Testament that we have to keep the Jewish Saturday sabbath, we must similarly keep it. However, as you can see, the apostles did tell us not to use the Lord’s name in vain**;** but the apostles did not tell us to keep the Saturday Jewish sabbath.

Next argument. :dts:
Rexpi;6813576:
Its clear that in the Bible blasphemy is understanded as to ‘forgiving sins being a simple man’ so ‘acting as God when you are not’. Which by the way its exactly what the pope and priests do, being just simple men like you and me.
Please read for instance:
Mark 14:53-64
Luke 5:18-21
Doesn’t your SDA sect do the exact same thing when you say that if a followers gives money to your church, then they are indulged by God because He’ll give money back to them? Pot calling kettle! The Catholic Church still offers indulgences, but hasn’t sold them for about 400 years…
Who said he needed fullfilling? not me. I know you SDA don’t beleive that Jesus fullfilled the law. When you don’t like something the scripture says you re-define it to suit your beliefs.Oh, really? Jesus does not need “fulfilling.” He is just fine the way He is! Always was, always will be!
Yes as a metaphore.Silly enough that Jesus himself used that expression
Whats wrong with asking for forgiveness and help in your life while praying in front of a statue or “cold image,” and how is this inferior to pray in front of say, the wall in your bedroom? We can tell the ‘christian’ you are just by reading your beautiful language… scary to me is seeing all this people kneeling down in front of cold images, golden statues, etc asking them forgiveness and help in their lives… thats actually sad.
Silly enough that Jesus himself used that expression
Think about this way…Those who sleep cannot be dead can they?Yes as a metaphore.
I’ll say what Bible truth didnt say before… Scaring people… Obviously Catholic Church taking good advantage by selling indulgences. Do they still selling them? No kidding, can someone explain that? Ta
Let this Jew ask the Catholics a question:Yes, they are part of their SDA outreach program, similar to the JWs. The SDA missionaries who are attempting to convert Catholics will also choose psychologically unique user-names, such as**:**
No personal offense is meant towards these proselytizing SDAs, but it is duly noted that they proselytizing strategies are detected.
- Bible Truth
- Catholic Lover
- Etc.
That’s why the SDA literature for newcomers doesn’t have their sect’s name on it.

Anyone who would believe some of these SDA cult-lies from Ellen White is indeed spiritually brainwashed with doctrines of demons.
- Ellen White said that some black American slaves would never be resurrected.
- In one of Ellen White’s delusional visions, she claimed to see Enoch on a far away planet with four moons.

In this one thread, many of their egregious doctrines have been exposed, so that anyone who reads it will be fully informed of what the SDAs believe!!! Knowledge is POWER!!!
Well for my part I never gave the SDA much thought one way or another until an aquantance who truned out to be SDA approached me about being Catholic. Thats how I got interested in the SDA thing. He pointed me to the official SDA website and after viewing some of the 'seminars" on various topics I was shocked. I’m a cradle Catholic and educated by the good sisters of the IHM for 12 years. The misinformation, and accusations made on almost every facet of Cathlolicism made on the SDA website would have been laughable except for my aquaintance took them seriously. So I did my best to give the man some good info and refernces. I’m glad I ran into this SDA guy. It encouraged me to delve into the history of my faith and do a little independant research on my own. I found that historically the Catholic Church was and is still today the original article.Since then I have been prowling this forum ready to pounce on the injustice and deciet spewed here by the SDA against the one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.Let this Jew ask the Catholics a question:
What was/is your reason for wanting “Info On SDA?”
What was your reason for wanting information about the Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses?
The leader and founder of Adventism, Ellen Gould White, falsely prophesied that some of her followers (at the meeting they were at) would not see mortal death but, instead, would be translated. They are all dead now, including Ellen White. Does this false promise/prophecy alarm you at all? :sad_yes:Let this Jew ask a question: What was/is your reason for wanting “Info On SDA?”

I’ve heard this excuse by Catholics quite a few times. All literature, including flyers for our crusades in this area are very clearly marked “Seventh-day Adventist.”That is correct. In the SDA outreach program, the SDAs quickly came to realize that if their literature said “Seventh-day Adventist” anywhere on it, then people would quickly throw it away without reading it**;** so the SDAs began printing all of their literature [for prosytelization] without their name on it. I’ve personally seen it and experienced it. When this thread was first created, 99% of the SDAs did not list their sect in the religion block in the upper right corner. However, now that this issue has been raised, a couple of them have suddenly begun listing it.That is correct. In the SDA outreach program, the SDAs quickly came to realize that if their literature said “Seventh-day Adventist” anywhere on it, then people would quickly throw it away without reading it**;** so the SDAs began printing all of their literature [for prosytelization] without their name on it.
