Your link does not say that a majority of Democrats thought the Russians actually changed votes. What they did believe was that the Russians actually changed the outcome, but not through altering votes that were cast.
Thanks for parsing. You are correct, but it doesn’t change the point. If the majority of Democrats believe that Trump is illegitimate, that he won because of Russian interference, and the dishonest media continues to push the Trump is Hitler narrative, it is easy to speculate that Democrats can justify any means to remove him from office.
Now, I don’t believe that there has been a massive switching of votes as Powell suggests, but the impact of court involvement will go s long way to easy those suspicions for many.

My observation of how people behave who have bought into a conspiracy theory is that no amount of facts will convince them. The courts have already rejected the vast majority of the blizzard of lawsuits launched by Trump, and that has not had any impact whatsoever on the true believers. There is no reason to think that one or two more court rulings will change their minds.

Biden didn’t even run a campaign. He put on a show at the end because he knew they had it all set up for him
to win. It is so obvious.
Perhaps his strategy was to let Trump win votes for him. He just let Trump be Trump and as a result more people voted for him instead of Trump.

The Quarter-pounder effect.

No, I am not talking about heart disease, but something else interesting I came across, unrelated, on the internet. Back in the eighties, A&W tried to counter the quarter-pounder success by offering a third pounder at the same price. The campaign failed miserably. When talking to focus groups, their burger was considered better, but the majority of the people bought only quarter-pounders because they believed them to be bigger that third-pounders, that is a quarter is bigger than a third. The customer is always right, even when he is wrong.

Hmmm…so someone may have been able to sell a fifth pounder for the same price, and some people may think that is bigger.

I understand. The Russia collusion hoax is an excellent example.

Maybe. Maybe not. The the courts is where the final decision is made. The only option is the streets. That isn’t typically a conservative option.
There is no reason to think that one or two more court rulings will change their minds.
Again, maybe, maybe not.

This is getting ridiculous.

The majority of Americans never approved of the job Trump was doing. Why would you think the majority of Americans would vote for him?

Sure, a whole lot of people showed up at Trump rallies. So what? Rallies don’t mean anything. The people who support Trump seem to be predisposed to that behavior, whereas Biden voters either wanted the Trump Presidency over or they actually supported Democratic principles. Maybe they aren’t predisposed to attend big rallies in the middle of a pandemic.

Biden ran a campaign. The ad buys for TV commercials were huge and the commercials on the internet by Meidas Touch and the Lincoln Project got wide viewership.

Face it, Trump lost. No amount of made-up conspiracy theories are going to change that. Now, he’s just doing damage to his reputation (if that’s possible), the Republicans, and the American system.

Absolutely, I’'ve heard others say this as well.

Biden/Harris didn’t campaign or at the least, it was minimal.

Lawsuits and the like will haunt us for years because it seems so obvious, we have had a fraudulent election.

One person opines on how Dominion did this. I have read it. Someone did post a video in one of the threads on it.

If you have thousands of voters who were told in PA. that they already voted as is alleged, there are big problems.

I debated whether or not to vote at all. I finally made the bad judgment of casting a vote. I’ll never vote again.

I hate crowds. I avoided them like the plague before the plague. I don’t like being treated like cattle and forced in thru little gates and passage ways. I honestly don’t get why people go to political rallies in the first place, no matter the party.

Agreed, would never go to one. The closest I came was when I was in university and Prime Minister Trudeau (the elder) came to give a speech in a packed auditorium. First, and last time.

Wonder why a majority of Democrats have not accepted the truth that Trump did not collude with Russia to win the last election? It was proved to be a false narrative but still persists as a reason they distrust the President. Wonder if msm’s reluctance of reporting anything in favor of DJT has anything to do with that???

Also, if they believe Biden won, ordinarily, Harris would resign her being Senator to make room for a new Senator being appointed.

Historically, this has been done at different times. A little research would have shown that Joe Biden resigned on Jan 15th, 2000 to become VP, but Barrack Obama resigned on Nov 16, 2008.

Al Gore resigned on Jan 2, 1993 to become VP.

Walter Mondale resigned on Dec 31, 1976 to become VP.

So, your comment is not backed up by the facts.

Probably the Comey letter had more to do with the 2016 election than the Russia-RogerStone-Trump collusion.

Clinton had a double-digit lead before that letter was announced but you can draw your own conclusions.

The Senate is still in session and several Senators will be giving their resignation speeches soon. Stay tuned.

@Formon

I am sure many people feel like you do and will choose never to vote in another election
again. I might never vote again either.

It’s a Privilege to vote and Un American Not to vote. There has been cheating in the past perhaps in the 1950’s, 1920’s, and prior, but not like in other nations. This is 2020 and we are the USA, this was the safest election in US History. The T-rvmp team and supporters need to stop. This guy is reaching and is desperate. I wanted T-rvmp to win but he LOST and it is beyond Obvious. His rhetoric and behavior is not good for the country. He’s attempting a coup.
