During the 2016 election, EWTNs “Morning Glory” program cancelled an interview with a 3rd party candidate (who is a practicing pro-life Catholic), yet, interviewed DJT.
Maybe that’s what the viewers wanted to see? During the 2016 election, either Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Trump was going to win, that gives both of these people a lot of desirability for a TV interview

Do you know why the interview was canceled? Was the candidate on the ballet in all or most of the states?

Do you have proof that there was biased regarding why they canceled it, or are you jumping to a conclusion?

Finally, I’m a political scientist by education. Third parties in the United States are viewed by most as “throw away” or “protest” votes, except when we are in a period of party realignment. So if ETWN had a scheduling conflict, I can understand why they may not prioritize a third party candidate who was not projected to receive a substantial piece of the popular vote.

God bless

The reason given was that they were afraid of losing their tax exempt status.

This snub was discussed all over the Catholic interwebz.

Perhaps they received a warning from the IRS after the Trump interview? Was the Trump interview before this?

Oct 15, 3rd party interview on “Morning Glory” radio program cancelled over concerns about the IRS.

Oct 25 Mr Arroyo interviews DJT on EWTN TV.

EWTN Radio and EWTN TV are different. EWTN Radio is offered for free to non-profit Catholic Radio Stations. They is no EWTN Radio Network like Relevant Radio has.

So most likely, the issue with “Morning Glory” had to do with the local radio stations having issues, rather than EWTN itself.

Again, I don’t have all the facts, but I know this:

EWTN TV is a satellite TV network and is 100% responsible for distribution.

But EWTN Radio is made up of almost 100% affiliate stations (besides internet distribution). EWTN does not own any local radio stations. They produce the content and give it away free to affiliate stations.

So EWTN Radio is not going to do anything that might hurt the individual affiliate stations who can not afford to hire lawyers to fight the IRS or local state department of revenue.

God Bless

Dance around it, many people did back then.

The face of EWTN news is also a Fox news contributor.

Catholic moral theology acknowledges a tremendous difference between your examples. Nancy and company hold opinions contrary to our faith. Doing so is not the direct, material cooperation with evil in which border patrol agents are involved.

They will all have to answer to God whether their Bishop does anything or not.

It’s not a “dance around,” it’s a legal fact. EWTN Radio has to be more careful than EWTN TV because EWTN Radio would put their affiliate stations at risk.

EWTN TV can afford to fight a legal battle (to a degree)

Yes, he’s currently a Fox News contributor, but he hasn’t always been. His role with Fox News (which was as a Catholic insider) has been increased with due to Laura Ingraham‘s show, because he’s always been close to her and a contributor to her radio show.

Concentration camps is related to some form of torture.
Must be related to the children be separated from parents and that experience of isolation
I do not think one would doubt that facilities be respectable in the US for children,or at most improved if they weren’t . One would think …
I think sometimes employed work in a big company could be called a concentration camp. )

Voting to keep abortion legal is absolutely material cooperation with evil. There is nothing intrinsically evil about enforcing any aspect of US immigration law. Anyone who wants to claim otherwise is undermining the rule of law.

What they are doing is not objectively evil. It’s unethical and perhaps subjectly evil, but separating children from parents who have been arrested isn’t objectively evil.

NOTE: I do think it’s totally wrong, but the Obama administration created a serious mess down there. We need immigration reform right away to before we can totally fix this mess.

Also, let’s remember - these horrible centers were created during the Obama administration, but there was no outrage from democrats or the media back then.

In regards to pro-abortion candidates: what Nancy, etc do would have gotten them excommunicated in other counties, in years past.

They publicly claim to be devout Catholics yet publicly claim the Magisterium is wrong.

SUMMARY: I 100% agree with the Bishops that we need to stop this practice. But we also need solutions and I don’t think we have the whole truth yet because the Obama administration was covering this up.

I agree with you.

I’ll just step outside now and see if the world has ended . . . 😉

I am sorry. I don’t get what you are saying. Could you please clarify?

@blackforest
You seem completely misguided in your post.
What you described was what happens at processing, not where the kids are detained.
Don’t get confused so easily, you are comparing apples and oranges.

The press has brought them to light now. So lets do what we can to fix this mess.
