Not at all. You said, “…his support of this evil so permeates everything he does that he has no moral credibility to lead. His support of abortion affects everything he does.”

Everything means everything - supporting the war, speeches in Tucson, relations with our allies, and yes, even the Super Bowl.
“Everything” sums it up.
If you can’t understand that, maybe you’re not even trying.

A mean who considers his future grandchildren - if “unplanned” -
to be “PUNISHMENT” for his daughters is a man who is clearly
lacking in a sense of basic morality. His unborn grandchildren!!!
His “opinions” on everything else have to be deeply flawed in terms of morality.

His stance on abortion underlines all of his opinions.

That’s a problem Rich. We are discussing Barack Obama’s support of a heious evil and you are trying to sidetrack the conversation into the discussion of his Super Bowl pick. You are trivializing the greatest moral issue, in fact the greatest issue perioid , facing the country today. I’m not going to go down that rabbit hole with you…

I personally believe that Barack Obama’s policies are wrong in just about every issue facing the country today. However even if he was right on about every issue facing us other than his support of abortion it still would be too high a price to pay to have him office.

Not at all. You said “everything” and I reject that. I believe that he could not be wrong and evil about everything, thus my trivial example.

You would disregard his opinion on who will win the Super Bowl, on that basis, it seems, given that his support of abortion affects everything he does. Oh, well. 🤷
Who cares about the stupid Super Bowl Rich?!!! Are you really that insensitive to the greatest holocaust that is occurring in our life time?!!

Everything that is important Rich. Surely you can understand what we are saying.

You’re free to reject anything you choose to reject, of course.
Yet obama’s opinion about anything else is irrelevant to me. My freedom.

The issue is abortion, a mainstay to obama and his political power.
It is the single issue that defines him and his mates.
That FACT speaks for itself.

Not the single issue in my opinion. He is also defined by the legislation he has pushed through, such as health care, what he did with GM, what he did with the banks, and on a personal note that he is the first person who is at least part black and who rose to the Presidency.

Without denigrating your position, I don’t define him by abortion alone.

I am one of those Catholics who could not even finish watching Obama’s speech because of the reason the good Bishop pointed out.

If anything I have said is against the Catholic Church, let it be anathema.
Agreed.

A speech about life and the loss suffered due to murder rings so hollow under these circumstances. I hope Bishop Naumann weighs in on this.

Most recently he defined himself by giving a banquet for Chinese leaders.

Let’s see … in addition to ALL of the human rights atrocities of China for the past 60 yrs,
now China is infamous for enacting forced abortions on pregnant women.

obama is a one-trick pony.

Actually I find all those acts reprehensible.

He is far from the “first” part black person who has risen to the presidency.

Research shows at least five U.S. presidents had black ancestors and Thomas Jefferson, the nation’s third president, was considered the first black president, according to historian Leroy Vaughn, author of Black People and Their Place in World History.

Vaughn’s research shows Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge were at least part black. Andrew Jackson’s father was black and his brother a slave.

Lincoln had very dark skin and coarse hair and his mother allegedly came from an Ethiopian tribe. His heritage fueled so much controversy that Lincoln was nicknamed “Abraham Africanus the First” by democrats.

We are just going around and around on this with no expectation of changed perspectives. As was said in Cool Hand Luke, “What we’ve got here is…failure to communicate.”

I shall leave it at that, fully respecting your positions on the topic. 🙂

I stand corrected, but his genetic makeup is not actually part of the topic of this thread. Good research, though. I didn’t know that about those presidents. 🙂

Hardly a definition. Even Ronald Reagan and the Bushes, father and son, would have given a state banquet for Hu, given the relationship we and China now have.

We must maintain relations with the major powers, even if some of them are an “evil empire.”

You do concede that China’s enforced
abortion actions are not even a blip
on obama’s radar screen.

Or maybe you don’t concede that?
