Sure there is.I don’t tweet but I also don’t care for his comments lots of the time.Howerver I understand why he feels compelled to respond. What is interesting as I have observed over the past three years, the more he is criticized by the Dems/left/ media, his numbers go up.Clearly not just conservatives but others as well. He isn’t a conventional president by any means but in my lifetime the most effective and has followed through on most of his promises.History will judge him more favorably as he really is a president for all in the Nation.Proclivities for tweets asidse

That doesn’t make Congress subordinate to the President, that is a function of the separation of powers.
Yes, there is a separation of powers that describes which branch has the power, and which branch plays a subordinate role when that power is practiced. I think we are on the same page here, just using the words a little differently.
but that doesn’t mean Congress is his boss
It is in the case of impeachment. The president has to respond to subpoenas, or there is no power at all in impeachment process.

Yet, you do not speak out. Why is that? Is there any comment or action by him that you would speak out against?

Am I on trial here,is this an inquisition?:face_with_raised_eyebrow:I answered your question. Given the bias of the mainstream media if not for his tweets how would he ever defend himself against the relentless cherry picking and spin place on him his every thought word and deed.

The President isn’t obligated to respond to a Congressional subpoena. The President is only obliged to appear before Congress to deliver the annual state of the union, even with that, he doesn’t actually have to appear in person. Bill Clinton, for example, didn’t appear or testify at his impeachment hearing. He sent his lawyers.

One does not attempt to counter nothing at all. The only fact witness was Sondland and his single fact favored Trump.
I guess it would be a further waste of time to talk to you. 🙂 If you don’t see that the obstruction of Congress was established, and that Trump attempted to blackmail Ukraine to help him in his next election, then every world is futile.

You could follow Giuliani’s and Mulvaney’s tactics and admit that all that happened, and then add the words: “so what?” or “get used to it!”. That would be the honest thing to do.

Mulvaney and Giuliani admitted nothing of the kind. Your whole premise is based on a lie.

I suggest to go back and listen to the actual words they said. 😉 Here it is:

And here is the other:

Sorry if it sounded like an inquisition. It was a simple question, would you ever possibly find anything to speak out against Mr. Trump?
Should people speak out against his bullying of certain people, or do they all “deserve it”? Can you imagine what it is like to be the subject of one of his critical tweets? Of course, it is going to be very natural for people to attack back when he does that.
The President isn’t obligated to respond to a Congressional subpoena.
In the case of impeachment, the president is obligated to allow subpoenas to be upheld, or it is contempt of congress. There were no constitutional scholars contesting this. If you find one, let me know.

If a president can legally hide all of his bad actions, there would be no power of impeachment.

He’s not obligated at all. He’s perfectly within his rights to claim “executive privilege” and tell them to pound sand, which he did. If 218 Congresspeople get upset they can vote to impeach and send it to the Senate where it will die because there’s not enough support to remove him. Even if there were, he can still run for President in 2020 and get re-elected and dare them to try again. Congress can’t order the President to honor their subpoenas, the most they can do is impeach and attempt to remove.

People doubted, even on this forum, that Barack Obama was even born in the US.

His wife was compared to a monkey.

He wore a beige suit. He wore flip flops on the beach. Pearls were clutched. “How dare he, so unpresidential!”

Trump mocked a disabled reporter. 🤷‍♀️
He just today mocked a child. 😴
At a rally he play acted a sexual encounter between Lisa Paige and Peter Sztrock. :cricket_bat_and_ball:
At another rally he led a chant of “BS” but used the whole Bull s*** 🤷‍♀️

These things are base.
They are vulgar
And they are constant.
And they are tolerated.
And even cheered

there’s not enough support to remove him.
The Senate isn’t restricted to this one issue. It could censure him or exonerate him by simple majority. I’m sure there will be public reaction either way.

I don’t think the Senate has the authority to censure members of other branches of government, only the power to remove.

Please support your statement with real evidence that “executive privilege” includes the legality of denying subpoenas from congress concerning impeachment.

Of course they can, a subpoena is itself an order to appear.

Yes, this is one of the legal ramifications when a president breaks a law or violates the constitution.

The President has restricted all others from testifying.

But, as Giuliani would say, so what?
The “so what” is that there are no factual bases for the impeachment, and one factual basis against it. That’s a pretty big “so what”.

Nobody in the executive branch has been arrested or even fined for refusing to appear before Congress regarding the impeachment. If Congress had the authority to enforce their subpoenas, one would expect to see that.
Of course they can, a subpoena is itself an order to appear.
Congress cannot order a President to appear.

President Trump is who Donald Trump always was. It started with Sean Spicer lying about the inauguration crowd size and just kept getting worse.
What I see is people getting really upset over the trivial and ignore the real issues. Yes, Trump is prone to hyperbole, his crowd wasn’t as big as he indicated.

He also spoke a lot on trade. I doubt he’s delivered all the things he said but he’s the first president in decades that took real action on the issue. He had the guts to use tariffs and drive a renegotiation of our major trade deals. They probably aren’t as good as he promised but they are definitely an improvement over what was in place.

China is still the outstanding piece of the puzzle here but it’s moving in the right direction. The tariffs are moving manufacturers out of China into other low cost locations. China will eventually play ball, or continue to lose their market share.
