@Dan123 - Online renewal is only available to people that have previously shown up in person to satisfy the Real ID requirements. Someone that has not already shown up in person with proof of citizenship and evidence of the address at which they live cannot use online renewal.

They planned to shut down for four hours and opened after two and a half (10:30 pm to 1:00 am) only after the pipe burst was reported by State Farm Arena reps at 9:19 pm. The initial reason for the shut down was because of the pipe “burst” (that had already been repaired that morning.) These are not new to a license the are “new” to voter registration. They did not get 2.2" million “new” drivers, they got 2.2 million new registered voters.
