It wasn’t a matter of pay. The problem was the shortage of people to work the polls amidst the covid-19 crisis. The Democrats wanted to postpone the election (it was for State Supreme Court and a primary) but the Republicans would not hear of it and took the Governor to court to force the election to be on the day originally scheduled. This, while other states were postponing primaries. Regardless of whose fault it is, the fact remains that people were disenfranchised. Wisconsin has no-excuse absentee balloting, but there was not enough time to get those ballots out.

No, RR is right in what he said, because he was responding to my implication that it was the fault of Republicans. Although I do agree that there is nothing wrong with mail-in voting.

  1. There is no Constitutional right to a secret ballot. How individuals voted has been examined by the courts is some isolated cases.
  2. This thread is about the fact that Trumps lies and inaccuracies have become so common that they are taken as a matter of course. Americans can no longer depend on what a president says, a sad turn of events.

Sherikia Hawkins was charged Monday with six felony counts for allegedly altering absentee ballots during the November 2018 election in her capacity as city clerk for the Detroit suburb of Southfield, Mich.

Hawkins, a 38-year-old registered Democrat, stands accused of altering 193 absentee ballots. She was arraigned Monday in Southfield on charges including falsifying returns or records, forgery of a public record, misconduct in office, and multiple counts of using a computer to commit a crime. She was released on $15,000 bond.

The alleged misconduct was discovered after the Oakland County Clerk’s Office noticed that 193 voter files had been changed to reflect that the voters failed to include a valid signature or return date, when all of the implicated voters had in fact included both items. The county clerk’s office later discovered the original voter files in the trash at the election-division office. The Michigan State Police then launched an investigation that resulted in Hawkins’s arrest.

It really does amaze that Democrats no longer want the secret ballot. The entire first world has it, but now we’re to go back to the bogus elections in the dictatorships where there’s no such thing. There’s no way democracy will survive abandoning it. Even the Democrats will hate it if they succeed in destroying it.

SC Absentee Ballots Found in Maryland as Dems Urge Vote-by-Mail

About 20 South Carolina absentee ballots were found in Maryland this week as the Democrat effort to push vote-by-mail continues.

According to Charleston’s Post and Courier , the ballots “have since made their way to Charleston-area voters, state and county election officials said, but it is just the latest problem with SeaChange Print Innovations, which prints and mails absentee ballots for 13 S.C. counties.”

South Carolina election officials are viewing the latest mistake as a final straw, as some Greenville County voters previously received the wrong ballots this year, and “some Charleston County voters received ballots that were folded in a way that could make them tougher to read by scanning machines,” South Carolina Election Commission spokesman Chris Whitmire said, according to the outlet:

You didn’t see the post on the mid-term elections in Michigan? Trump wasn’t running then, either.

I just showed others involved in vote fraud, since it seemed the time to post examples. There’s not much on voter impersonation, though. That’s the only thing that involves voter ID’s.

Don’t worry, as to supporters, Trump still has overwhelming support among the white supremacists. If you want Trump’s supporters to reflect on him.
