Voting to allow something to remain legal doesn’t mean you are encouraging people to do harm, you are simply letting them make the choice.

Many people own guns and cars and never harm or kill anyone with them. Many women choose not to get an abortion even though they could.
This doesn’t work. Guns and cars can have legitimate purposes and almost totally do. Abortion has no purpose but to deliberately kill. The closer comparison would be to approve genocide with one’s vote. The only difference between voting for an abortion supporter and a Jew-killer is that the numbers are so much greater in the former.

Tell me when the next train load of mothers is on it’s way to the clinics. I want to come out and see. Oh wait, there aren’t any.

The Nazi’s systematically rounded up the Jews, and sent them to be experimented on, worked, starved, and killed.

There is no comparison between the two. There is no law forcing anyone to get an abortion, and a vote for or against the issue doesn’t force a woman to get one or not get one.

You’re right about the trains. And it must be admitted the uniforms of the killers are different. But your analogy fails in every other way. You’re worrying about the rights of the SS, in effect, defending their freedom of action when the Jews are killed. The victims are not the mothers but the children. They’re the ones doing the dying, and they get no choice in the matter.

And we do know Planned Parenthood sells body parts of the children they kill. Americans are aghast at that when China kills people to sell their organs. But too many Americans support it when it’s Planned Parenthood doing it. And the Dem party, of course, takes their blood money. It amazes me that Americans, particularly Catholics, would want that kind of savagery on their consciences.

When someone cheats on their wife/husband, kills an innocent, robs a bank, abuses their child, spouse, parent, or whatever the crime/sin may be, it isn’t on my conscience. I am not responsible for those actions. They, based on the free will that God gave them are responsible for their own actions. No one else.

The SS could have said no to the orders to imprison and kill the Jews. Had they done so, they may very well have been killed themselves. Their risk of death may or may not be a grounds for God to forgive them for their actions. We don’t know.

No one is giving orders to any doctor, woman or anyone else causing them to perform or seek an abortion. Huge, huge difference.

Can we assume that since adultery is legal people are being forced to commit adultery, and that we all have other peoples adulterous actions on our conscience? Lets see, NOPE.

Adulterers generally survive the experience. It probably should be unlawful and once was, but adulterers did not generally murder their partners. Killing is not part of the act itself, and is certainly not its purpose. In abortion, the child always dies. And the death of the child is the sole and only purpose of it. A vote for a supporter of it is a vote for permissive murder. No way around that.

So other peoples actions are not on our conscience? Or are you still sticking with that point that they are? You seem to avoid that point all together.

Great, then we can stop all this nonsense about Catholics can’t do X, Y or Z or have to do A, B and C.
That sure doesn’t follow from what I said. It’s certainly isn’t nonsense either, or the popes and bishops have not treated the issue of abortion as “nonsense” but as the preeminent issue in this election. Supporting abortion by supporting abortion politicians is being complicit in a profound evil.

If you gave no support or approval to them and in no way facilitated them, and had no means of prevention, then they would not.
And helping keep the behaviour legal, and those who perpetrate it both in the US and overseas well-funded, by voting those who do these things into office, isn’t facilitating it?

The abomination is the phony liberal press who lie about these things. One notes that none of these “sources” are identified, even though “former” officials have nothing at all to fear from Trump.

No it isn’t.

A political figure having a stance that something remain legal is not the same as perpetrating it.

Women and doctors after the woman asks them to perpetrate abortions.

And governments give funding TO those doctors (the perpetrators) to fund all or part of the costs of those abortions - look at the way State and Federal US government money is spent.

Planned Parenthood, for example, still as of 2019 gets about $60 million per year under Title X. IIRC this is less than used to be the case. And indeed the US has in the past given financial aid to abortion programs in foreign countries (hence the Mexico City amendment to stop this happening).

So politicians do much more than just vote to make/keep abortion legal. Some of them vote to pay for abortions with taxpayers’ money.

Actually according to their financial data, in the 2018-2019 year they got almost 617 million from gov for services and grants.

I believe this would be from medicaid, and title X along with grants.

So, yes there is quite a bit of fed, and state money going to them for the services they provide. Abortion services are apparently restricted by most states and only 3% of the services they provide.
