certainly you can be a Catholic and a feminist, if by the latter term you mean someone who advocates and sometimes takes political and social action on behalf of women for the purpose of safeguarding their rights and liberties. What you cannot be is pro-abortion and feminist, since abortion targets women in a despicably violent way, not only mothers but the over 2 million unborn females who will never be allowed to see life. the culture of death that produced the pro-abortion scandal also fostered a distortion of true feminism based on denying the essential elements of a woman’s being and identity, and that is just plain evil.
